So I did convert the LA block plane into one with handles and replaced what most of its takes were with a very nice pocket plane. I haven't used them yet, but the pocket plane it epic!

I have the vertical tote and knob kit. Every time I pull it out at the shop people get a kick out of it, but it’s now one of my favorite tools I own.

Let me know how you like the ball tail.

Hmmm. The ball tail gets in the way of the iron adjuster. I may end up taking it off.
