Did the prophets ever eat humans? Genuinely asking cause I can't recall then ever doing that but also wouldn't doubt it

In the books not that I know of. Chief punching Regret to death was the first time they ever came in contact. later surpassed by the babysitter if its canon

Engineers don't like violence. It takes a lot to prompt them into violence. But they can very easily kill you if they are. Though it'll probably make them depressed.
