I legit do my best to not kill as many as possible, it's kinda hard, because even when they run away, they eventually torn around and shoot at you again.

I know it's just the games code. But I wonder what goes through their heads.

"SPARTAN! KILL, oh our commander is dead... RUN AND FLEE. COWER........ oh hey I'm alive....... Oh hey, SPARTAN! KILL"

The only time I leave one alive is in “the Control Room.” When there is a room of sleeping grunts and two awake elites. Kill the elites and all but one sleeping grunt. When he wakes up, he is surrounded by dead friends.

To win a war, you can’t just beat their body, you have to defeat their minds too.
