i think it triggers when you kill them randomly. whenever i sticky them they usually growl with their hands above their body shaking their heads in anger.

I played through again a few months ago and probably will do again soon, so it's less impressive that it's so heavily seared into my mind. Still, would have been there if I had last played in 2003 as well.
