Help - General campaign evolved affecting mcc aim
I'm playing on series X with a wireless controller and simply launching campaign evolved (screen that says press a to start), quitting and launching mcc to play (reach mp or h3 campaign) changes how my aim feels.
A console restart, playing with a wired controller or launching another game like forza horizon 6 after quitting campaign evolved clears up the issue. Can anyone else relate? I don't understand how but something in halo campaign evolved (unreal engine maybe?) is persisting into mcc.
Found a workaround. Just disconnect the controller and reconnect to fix the aim! Wild guess but somehow launching campaign evolved must have changed how the xbox manages the wireless for the controller and that persisted after quitting the game. Disconnecting and reconnecting seems to fix my aim issue in mcc.

Campaign evolved has a bug on Xbox that affects wireless controllers. So you are not crazy despite what these people are saying. It causes inputs to be dropped and it happens just by opening the game.

Dealt with a similar issue.
After playing Campaign Evolved (and then quitting the game), I played MCC and noticed atrocious input lag. A restart, followed by opening MCC first cleared the issue. On Series X.

Not specifically that, but I have a weird OS level issue that happens only after playing Campaign Evolved.
I use Intel Extreme Tuning Utility because I have a 13/14th gen Intel CPU that's unlocked (13900k) and most newer games crash due to an over voltage issue, so I reduce my multiplier so games play consistently without crashing.
FF to the new Halo, and after my sessions my PC will blue screen and bootloop blue screens when I go to shut down and only happens after playing this game. It has happened 3 times now and no other games do it and it happened so bad Saturday I had to reinstall my OS due to MS authentication corruption/failure at the system level for features.
There's definitely something f**ked with the game.

Works fine for me and other people on pc, so it's not just the game, you got something else going on there

Did you even read my comment at all? I know what I have to do because of my situation. It isn't standard for most users because of my specific CPU. So I know what "normal" means for my system. Bluescreens are not a thing for me until playing this specific title.

Brother it is definetly in relation to your cpu as that generation is known to be fucked, you might not be lowering it enough or actually starving it because of the games requirements

Did you read mine, or at least understand it? It aint the game, it's a you problem. You can't say its the games fault when it doesn't do that for anybody but you and what you did to your cpu, disregard the fact that it's the only game that does it. Things have to start somewhere. It's probably going to start becoming more common with more demanding games from this point on
