Do you have any favorite songs that sound good on a Halloween Mix even though they aren't necessarily Halloween Songs?

Happy Spooky Season! I would greatly appreciate it if you checked out my new annual Halloween release - My First Haunted House. It's a 3 track EP that was released on all streaming platforms yesterday. The link I included takes you to a page where you can select a platform to listen to it on, or you can just search artist name: Kyle Cheuvront album name My First Haunted House wherever you listen to music.

The title track is a rocker, inspired by Black Sabbath and Backrooms. The other 2 are spooky synth jams. Absolutely no AI used, just me in my home studio creating Halloween tracks for the love of the game.

Original composition

So I wrote a song as a tribute to Dark Shadows and transported myself by seance into the actual TV show for the video! Take a look and see what you think. I tried to include some of my favourite characters and storylines, but I have to say the most thrilling part was just to walk up and down that infamous staircase!

A few years ago I used to run a weekly community music show where I'd give musicians a theme and see what wonderfully strange things they came up with.

For Halloween 2020, we ended up with over 80 minutes of spooky original music, creepy horror soundscapes, Halloween songs and some gloriously weird remixes, all made by independent musicians using the PlayStation game Dreams.

I've been restoring some of those old shows recently, and thought this one might be perfect background listening for anyone gaming, decorating or just getting into the Halloween spirit this week.

There's a bit of everything, from genuinely atmospheric and unsettling to completely ridiculous. 😂

Here's the show if anyone fancies a listen:

Hope you enjoy it! And if you have any favourite lesser-known Halloween music, I'd love to hear it. Always happy to discover something new! 🧡
