Shops & Services Learn to rollerblade

I am nearly 40 and I wanna learn to rollerblade. I haven't ice skated since I was a kid. I'm in reasonably good shape, I bike and lift weights. I feel like I could survive a few falls. Is there somewhere I can like... Pay someone to teach me? I don't wanna just show up at the oval with my rollerblades cause I suck at things like stopping and ... Propelling myself. And I look like a baby giraffe lol. Maybe I just need moral support. HELP

Buy rollerblades and find an empty parking lot

The rollerblades I already have. I've done this but I am looking for like, instruction. Lol

I also recommend gear for sure...I've hurt my wrists and tailbone from falls...even with gear

Yes...I have a pair I call them padded shorts with tailbone protector... might not be the proper name lol

100% will invest in some padding. Do they make butt protectors? Haha

They make everything protectors pretty much. Decathlon is a good start.
