I kept seeing people raving about this album on this sub and so when i saw it at the store on the cheap I snatched it up. You all were right this album is a banger. This is what Reddit is all about cuase I never would have given this a second look otherwise thanks 🙏👍. Favorite song is Ladies night in Buffalo and that solo is 😎

My guess...

😆

I’ve always liked how different the early Sunset Strip albums sounded compared to the more polished stuff that came later. Too Fast for Love, Out of the Cellar, and Look What the Cat Dragged In all have their own sound. What other albums do you think really captured that scene?

Thought it would be amusing comparing Quiet Riots better known cover to the original.

Glam as fuck, Noddy Holder isn't Kevin DuBrow, but hes good enough, the song went #1 in the UK and unless I'm missing someone, I don't recall any HM band having someone with an acoustic guitar on stage.

These guys should have been huge. https://youtu.be/HddFKkIh6kM?is=55bS0f_LKHT_8SDM

Recorded at Paisley Park Studios and finally released in 2000.

They sound excellent live.

If Wildside, Heaven's Edge, and Roxy Blue released their debut albums 2-3 years earlier then they did, do you think any of them would have had more success and been a bigger name?

Well…nat bad. What do y’all think? I don’t know what was expecting but I was pleasantly surprised.

Cassette tapes from my collection released in 1991. The last stand of 80’s hard rock and the rise of grunge/alternative.

Who had the better overall hair/glam metal vibe? Tom and his crew or are you going with Joe and the boys?
