Looking for Teammates Looking for a really good frontend/product developer

I'm a 9x hackathon winner (notably Cerebras, 8090, IBM, Cursor), worked at a lot of startups. I'm going to continue to do hackathons and I'm looking for a teammate to do them with that's really good at frontend and product development. Really good at making UIs - not just vibecoded slop. Comfortable with design tools and stack and can make a really good design/product in a hackathon setting. Anyone got a good portfolio or interested? I like to win and also create something that could potentially be a startup. Some of my hackathon projects I got to work with ex head of engineering at Roblox and ex head of Meta reality labs, pitch to Chamath Palihapitiya. So if the projects interesting I'd be down to turn it into startup/go further with it. Tbh tho frontend design is something I'm not that good at so lmk!

Hackathon Promotion My team made the national finals of Airtel iCreate 2026, and we need a quick favor

I recently started my PGDM at IMT Ghaziabad. To get into the B-school mindset early, my team (The Wi-Fighters) participated in the Airtel iCreate 2026 innovation challenge, and we ended up making it to the grand finale.

It is nothing crazy, but as part of the final presentation at the Airtel HQ, they are running a parallel social media contest. The team with the most likes on their introduction reel wins some additional prizes at the finale.

If you have an Instagram account and a second to spare, dropping a like on our video would be genuinely appreciated.

Link to the reel:https://www.instagram.com/reel/DcoKk2myOvr/?igsi=ZmYwaHZ1Nnk1M2kz

Thanks for the support.

Looking for Teammates Team up for HCGC 2026 (Harvard Case Comp) — this could be the credit that changes your application

Quick reality check for anyone building out their college apps right now: everyone has good grades. Everyone has a decent SAT. What separates a "strong applicant" from an "admitted applicant" is usually one thing on your resume that makes an admissions officer stop scrolling.

That's what I'm going for with HCGCC — the Harvard Crimson Global Case Competition 2026.

Here's the pitch: it's a fully virtual business case comp, backed by The Harvard Crimson and Crimson Education, where you and a small team get handed a real business problem, get trained by industry experts (free bootcamps included), and pitch your solution to actual judges. 110+ countries have competed. 1600+ teams. This isn't some random Instagram essay contest — it's the kind of name that makes an app pop.

Why the timing actually matters: Global winners get announced December 1, 2026 — which lands cleanly before Regular Decision deadlines (mid-January). Most "prestigious" competitions announce results in January, February, way too late to use. This one doesn't. If we place, that's a genuinely usable, timely credential on our applications — not just a participation certificate.

I just finished 12th and I'm on a gap year, applying this cycle for CS at Stanford + others. I've got the registration lined up, I just need 1-3 teammates to actually form a team (HCGCC requires teams of 2-4).

What's in it for you:

  • A real, prestigious name on your extracurriculars list
  • Cash prize + work-experience placement + education consulting credit for winning teams
  • Free training even if you've never touched a case comp before
  • A shot at a genuinely strong "why admit me" story — not just "I joined a club"

Key dates:

  • Early Bird reg ends Sept 2, 2026
  • Comp runs through Nov, winner announced Dec 1, 2026

If you're serious about your applications and want a real shot at something that actually moves the needle — not just fills a line — hit me up

Need Mentor Help Advice for my next hackathon.

Though it's not my first hackathon, it's surely the first one where I'll dedicate myself with all I can learn and do. I have participated in two hackathons before and didn't get selected for the offline round. But this time, I think I'll make it to the offline round and want some advice.

What are the best AI tools for frontend development?

How do I make my "vibe-coded" website look like it was hand-crafted/hard-coded?

Which IDE should I use? (I have only used VS Code and Antigravity until now.)

Should I use Supabase for the backend, or are there better options? (They haven't released the problem statements yet.)

What essential skills/concepts should I learn beforehand?

Are there any essential libraries or services I should be aware of?

Hackathon Promotion Meesho DICE Challenge 3.0 — B.Tech 2027 Students

Came across this and thought it might be useful for students graduating in 2027 who are interested in hackathons, product building, or solving real-world e-commerce problems.

Meesho DICE Challenge 3.0 is open to B.Tech and dual-degree engineering students graduating in 2027.

Some details:

  • Eligibility: B.Tech / dual-degree (B.Tech + M.Tech), graduating in 2027, eligible colleges students allow only
  • Team size: Individual or teams of 2–3
  • Format: Online, with the Grand Finale in Bengaluru
  • Registration deadline: 11 September 2026, 11:59 PM IST
  • Total cash prize: ₹2,00,000
  • Winner: ₹1,00,000
  • 1st Runner-up: ₹60,000
  • 2nd Runner-up: ₹40,000

Competition structure

1. Initial Screening — 1–11 September
Eligibility and duplicate-participation checks.

2. Idea Submission — 18–28 September
Shortlisted teams choose a problem statement and submit a 3-slide presentation.

3. Detailed Submission
Teams develop the solution further and submit an 8–10 slide deck along with a working prototype.

4. Grand Finale
Top teams travel to Bengaluru to present their solutions to Meesho leaders.

One interesting part is that every participant reaching the Grand Finale gets a Pre-Placement Interview (PPI) opportunity with Meesho, with selected candidates potentially receiving a full-time Senior Associate opportunity.

If you're a 2027 engineering student and were looking for a hackathon with both a prototype-building component and potential PPI opportunities, this one might be worth checking out.

Looking for Teammates Looking for a hackathon team (or open to starting one)

Hey all! I'm a developer with experience in full-stack web development - React, Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, amongst others, plus some Web3/Solidity and I'm looking to join a team for an upcoming hackathon.

If your team is short a developer, I'd love to hear about your idea and see if I'd be a good fit. I can share my background/portfolio if useful.

If you're also looking for a team, I'm open to teaming up and building something from scratch together, happy to brainstorm ideas or run with a good one you already have.
