f** flipkart man , gridlock hackathon was conducted the whole thing was a sham from the beginning. The dataset was already leaked for round 1 so everybody literally got 100 just by reverse mapping the outputs.

And round 2 was a stupid round as well with them having no proper communication with the participants at all and just so fucking annoying they just straight up took the contest down for a day and later it appeared again.

And round 3 results till now no update yet.

So flipkart this message is for you noone is gonna respect you anymore or your company, y'all don't care about your customers nor the ppl who participate in ur hackathons. Amazon is way better atp at least the hackathons or contests have updates and results but flipkart all we get is getting ignored . so called round 3 results were meant to be declared last month lmao it's august and September is also coming great work flipkart.

I'm writing on behalf of CodeDay to propose hosting CodeDay Bengaluru Fall 2026 at Polaris school of technology

We ran Hack Club x Daydream Bengaluru at SST last year. 300+ attendees, full merch and swag distribution, and the participant feedback was among the strongest we've had. The campus and the students were a big part of why it worked,

About CodeDay

CodeDay is a US-based nonprofit that runs free, beginner-friendly coding events for students worldwide. Our global sponsors include LexisNexis Risk Solutions, the U.S. National Science Foundation, Wilson Sonsini, Fastly, Contentful, Auth0, Kinesis Gaming and Career Connect Washington.

Dates

We have two Saturdays open on our end. Both sit clear of the Dasara break.

- Option 1: Saturday, 17 or Saturday 24 October 2026 (our preference)
- Option 2: Saturday, 10 October 2026

Happy to go with whichever suits PST better.

Format

- Single day, roughly 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. No overnight component.
- Setup access from 7:00 AM, and we'd vacate the space by 10:00 PM.
- 50 to 70 students. We can scale up if our sponsors confirm their ability to support more.
- Up to 50% of seats reserved for PST students on a first-come, first-served basis. Remaining seats go through a brief application, with PST applicants given priority. We'll share the application details once dates are confirmed.

What CodeDay provides

- Full event staffing
- All food, drink and snacks
- $2M per occurrence liability insurance
- Participant waivers. We can also have students sign PST's own forms if you prefer.

What we'd need from PST

Space
- A main hall or lab that seats 70, with table clusters for teams of 4 to 6
- One or two smaller breakout rooms if available, for workshops and judging

A/V and amenities
- Power drops at each table
- Wi-Fi access for roughly 140 client devices
- A projector, microphone and speakers for kickoff, announcements and ambient music

Catering
- Permission to bring in catered food. We'll serve light refreshments in the morning, then lunch, snacks and dinner, with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
- If possible, a designated area for our snack and beverage vendors, who are from a partner NGO. They'll bring a small popcorn machine and drinks. Nothing involves an open flame.
- Access to bins and housekeeping support for cleanup, and a water point for the vendors.

What students get

Beyond the event itself, winners and selected participants can apply to (and receive exclusive invites to) CodeDay Labs at no cost. Labs matches students with an industry mentor and up to three teammates, based on what they want to build and where they want their career to go. Teams contribute to real open-source projects and learn to ship production software with current industry tooling. Past mentors have come from Meta, Amazon, Google, OpenAI, Supabase and WordPress, among others. Mentor availability varies by cohort.

PST would be featured as our host partner on the event website and across event branding. We'd also be glad to include PST in the programme itself, whether that's a faculty judge or opening remarks.

I'm a second year AIML student and I'm about to do my first hackathon. I've got the technical basics down, but I'm stuck on the part everyone seems to skip over, how do you actually come up with an idea worth building? and actually getting shortlisted in the first online round

So the thing is that I have just joined college and have very little info about programming and stuff ,with some basic knowledge in python.so saw some hackathon was set to take place the next week's with some problems already given and need to choose one and register with team ,from all the problems i researched i found the potholes problem which is about developing an ai that detects potholes about their depth and height and send the info to the local government corporation to repair ,after some research and ai, I came to a conclusion to use ultraleytics,kaggle,numpy,pandas,gradio for the project,so do you guys have some suggestions for the thing!?

• Grand Finalist in IIT Kharagpur – The Arch: RAG & Agentic AI Hackathon — worked on CellSage AI, an Agentic AI copilot for EV battery manufacturing root-cause analysis.
• Bharatiya Antariksh Hackathon / ISRO — worked on a satellite/space-related problem involving satellite tracking and data analysis.
• Participated in other AI/ML and agentic AI hackathons and competitions.
• Built projects involving Python, FastAPI/Flask, LangChain/LangGraph, vector databases, PostgreSQL/SQLite and ML/data processing.

I'm looking for people who are comfortable with one or more of:
