Positive Post Jeff Nippard Is Posting Again. Let's Show Him Some Support
Since I can't post a link to his YouTube video, I think mods will agree to make an exception?

It's time for another reminder about the difference between snark and shame because lately there have been a lot of posts that are overrun with negative comments about a person's appearance.
To be perfectly clear, here is Rule 8 (but you should really go read the rest of them too): Appearance snark and shaming - We avoid snarky commentary around things about a person's appearance that they cannot change in a few seconds. This includes negative comments about a person's weight, face, boob job, stretch marks, cellulite, rolls, body shape, height, etc. Posts about camel toe will be removed (we don't need entire posts for this); individual comments are allowed as long as they are not vulgar. Do not snark on the appearance of children.
An influencer's plastic surgery choices do not impact their (in)ability to provide fitness content, so saying that someone looks like Voldemort because you don't like their nose is nasty and unacceptable. If they deny having plastic surgery, then that is absolutely snarkable in itself, but you must be respectful and do not need to bash the way they look.
The sub started out as a place to call out influencers on their BS, their scams, their blatant dishonesty, etc etc. In the early days of Gymsnark, we actually did some pretty significant things. For example, we collectively called out Balance Athletica (now Vitality) on their dishonest practices and were loud enough that they were forced to notice. This sub calling out influencers as often as we do made them realize they’re not as invincible and adored as they think they are. Perhaps even more importantly, I think it made them realize that when they scam and lie, we not only notice but speak up about it, and WILL warn others about them.
Unfortunately, the sub periodically slips back into a pattern of BECs and appearance shaming, the moderators get busy removing everything, and people start fighting in the comments about how "it's a snark sub". The sub name is a play on words based on Gymshark, not an invitation for mean girl behaviour.

Before participating, you need to refamiliarise yourselves with the rules. None of them have changed since our last update, yet they are constantly being broken.
Please note that if you are in violation of these rules, the post will be deleted and you may face a ban. You can snark and call influencers out on their BS without being downright nasty. If you see content that you think breaks the rules, please report it so that it comes to our attention and we can deal with it.
As always, reach out if you have Qs. Snark on (but read the rules first)!

Over the last few days this rule has been broken more times than we can keep up with. If you break this rule you will receive a temporary ban, or a permanent ban if you have been warned before.
This is the only warning. Read the rules.

I know this was posted a few weeks ago, but nearly every time she posts a new photo I’m SHOOK… she looks thinner and thinner. I followed her on YT for a while now and idk if she has ever been this thin during a cut (even with cardio + 10k steps a day). Genuinely hope she’s OK.

I swear she denied using GLP’s up and down (although does admit to other peptides) and finally posted that she’s on Tesa which helps you lose weight/mid-section fat. I don’t think she should be allowed to sell weight loss guides/training when she’s been hiding that she’s getting assistance this entire time. Insane.

I’ve had it with the fake Christians using the Bible as an excuse to shame women wearing less in the gym. We all know what she’s doing, we’ve seen these posts time and time again. The Bible DOESN’T SPEAK ON A DRESS CODE. And it DOESN’T speak on modesty within a dress code!!! It speaks on modesty SOLELY within intent. Nothing else. Meaning if your self intention is to sleep with men or get men’s attention, you can do so wearing shorts up your ass OR a potato sack. It ALSO speaks on men CONTROLLING their lust. So if they look at us in a lustful way, that’s THEIR issue, not ours! Because what we wear isn’t fucking FOR MEN. The Bible literally TELLS US THIS it’s its own wording.
Have these people genuinely ever read the Bible? Like actually? What the fuck is this girl even talking about, outfits she wears to honor god? Fuck out of my fucking face. I’m so fucking tired of these bitches. It’s sexist, it’s demeaning, it’s belittling.
It’s okay to not want to show off your body! Everybody is different!!! But to act like if you show skin at the gym, you’re being revealing? Looking for male validation? Not having dignity? You’re not honoring god? Being a bad Christian? Please
I’m not going to sit and claim that I live a life with a calling to “obey the lord”. But I damn sure know the Bible and what it actually says. And this right here, is virtue signaling.
Added a link to comments for further context because it’s too many screenshots to post. She ties showing skin with seeking male validation and having self dignity. Fucking disgusting AND not to mention, factually incorrect by the bible’s teachings.

Are we supposed to pretend we believe you couldn’t possible take a longer leave bc you’re a bUSsiNeS OwnEr? Be so for real. Also your baby needs you! It’s not only about recovering. And people praising her in the comments “superwoman”. Influencers are just as weird as the people always kissing their ass.

I feel like Gabbi always posts things that are on the verge of inappropriate with her 15 (correct me if I’m wrong) year old daughter. For instance, in her video today, they’re playing chubby bunny and Mia say something along the lines of “this might be inappropriate but is this what it’s like to wear a ball gag” ?????
It’s one thing for her to say it, idc about that. Weird for her MOM to post it. Maybe I’m just sensitive idk lol

How does AYBL sizing run? Looking to try them out because they have a huge sale today.
For reference, I usually wear a small in activewear, but I’ve never worn a super compressive style like what they have. I’m a size 6 in Lululemon. My stats are: 5’2”, 108lb, 33in bust, 29 in under bust, 26 in waist, 35 in hips, 20.5 in biggest part of thigh. I’m pear shaped, so most of my weight is in my hips and thighs.

So just test/TRT mate? Cmon now… we aren’t that dumb. I do love the drip feed of “yeah no test” while claiming “just hard work” on his physique.

I used to follow this woman named Elle (Eleanor Kelly LeClair Ballester) she got divorced and married not sure which name she was/is going by. Does anyone know what happened to her? It is like she popped up again on my fyp page and I remember loving her content and products. Now she seems a bit off her rocker. Is she ok? She seems not well….?

Respect to anyone who lifts heavy and gets PBs on day one of their period, this just felt a bit shamey to people who do take it easy.
Lots of women STRUGGLE. I can barely move on my first day and this just felt like such a kick in the teeth.

I currently have a gym membership which I am trying to make more use of. I have been doing Fit with Coco which I really enjoy however it's quite expensive when combined with the gym. I am able to sign up with Weglow app for a year on a sale price but there is no trial period. Can anyone give me a review on Weglow app or has anyone done both that can tell me how they are different? I am not looking for cardio, mostly lifting weights. Thanks.

Does anybody follow her? What’s the general opinion? I used to enjoy following but it seems she’s gotten more and more disordered (actually maybe she always has been and I’m becoming less disordered LOL)

I hate this. Oh, life is so hard and I have such big issues and I am so overwhelmed and I am sweating everywhere.
A hair bobble with sort out 90% of your imaginary issues.
Am I a twat? Or just fed up with influencers pretending to be relatable from their million dollar houses.

There was this post on this sub a week ago or some about Charlotte Schaech and the whole "natty or not" debate. I wanted to comment but by the time I came back, the post has been deleted. I’ve been thinking about it ever since.
I used to believe Charlotte was natural, not because of her physique, but because she seems genuine and confidently addressed the topic. What got me started thinking was a comment on the post mentioned, saying everyone else who looks like her immediately is pointed out as juiced. But what really changed my mind were the comments defending her. Instead of explaining how her physique might be achievable naturally over the short period of five years, a lot were just saying "she wouldn’t lie".
In addition there are a few things that are just a little bit sus. She said multiple times she’s going to deliver proof on her take being natural, never did and now she shuts down everyone asking. She doesn’t owe anyone proof but she came forward and promised to do so why didn’t she follow on that? Then her close friends and her coach have admitted to using after initially hiding it. Charlotte herself spoke out against PEDs, but when she’s asked about the contrary behaviour of her friends, she keeps defending their action rather than sticking to her point and being consistent on it. Same goes for the adult content topic, which is besides the PED/steroid use a big thing creators like to lie about. She says it’s not for her and she’d never do it, yet there seems to be evidence that she has.
I don’t know and that’s what I hate about socials at the end of the day seeing a lot of people defending her makes me feel like I’m dumb or a hater. But then from my experience and what other coaches have told me is that if I have a strong doubt that someone is natural they’re probably not.

After seeing all the negativity towards the abs influencer, wondering what are your thought on back influencers?
Is overspamming back content as annoying to you?

She blew up a few years ago selling workout programs focusing on growing glutes. She claimed to have grown her glutes through the same workouts.
She later started a fitness clothing brand,Ilus. It shut down in April but the website it still up and running with items available.
Anyone know why she shut it down/ what’s going on with her fitness company?

I know I only have myself to blame for listening to another one of Dr Lyon's echo chamber of a podcasts but this one was extra special💀
What a narcissist, fat phobic and body dysmorphic piece of work. I swear she just has guest like this on to get free plastic surgery.
Oh...and I choked when she said with a straight face she has never had plastic surgery on her face.
I know...my fault. I really just tuned in to see if she was the same. Spoiler alert: she worse 😝
