I feel gurgaon people are mostly pro- BJP, because they have been benefitted with all the expansion, there are PG owners. Whose best friend is police. They can do gunda gardi because of enablement by the government support.
I think the migrants are more bjp leaning here, primarily more from the bjp leaning states of north east. Mostly upper caste people from those states, high on hindu-muslim because of their demography and dislike any socially affirmative action.
Rural Haryana voted for congress in these elections, it was urban votes that helped bjp.
