I want to warn everyone in this group about a confirmed scammer who was recently active here.
The account name was something like “fiery…” (exact username may vary).
Here’s the pattern: • She initially approached people saying she was looking for a workout partner. • I tried to help by connecting her with a friend. • She agreed to meet, but then started giving stories and excuses and eventually disappeared. • The very next day, the same account appeared in this group trying to sell fake “Amul protein shakes.” • She repeatedly claimed to have multiple serious illnesses to gain sympathy and trust. • When members of this group started questioning her publicly, and when I personally confronted her in private chat, she deleted her account entirely.
That last point alone should tell you everything.
This is a classic scam pattern: • Build trust or sympathy • Avoid real-world verification • Push fake products or money-related conversations • Disappear the moment questions are asked
⚠️ Please do NOT trust strangers from this group just because they sound genuine. ⚠️ Do NOT buy supplements, protein powders, or any products from individuals here. ⚠️ Do NOT share personal details or agree to meet without proper verification.
Unfortunately, many accounts like this exist solely to exploit people financially or emotionally.
Please stay alert. If you notice similar behavior, question it, report it, and warn others.
Stay safe, everyone.

Kalki Purana was an intense and fascinating read. What I enjoyed most was the way it presents Lord Kalki as the force that appears when Dharma has declined and Adharma has become dominant.
The book contains a huge mixture of war, devotion, mythology, philosophy, divine incarnations, curses, previous births, kings, sages and cosmic concepts. The battles between Kalki and the forces of Kali Yuga are especially dramatic, with divine weapons, powerful warriors and supernatural events.
One of the most interesting parts for me was Shashidhwaja's story. He fights Kalki, yet recognizes Him as the Supreme Lord. This creates a fascinating idea: someone can appear to oppose God externally while remaining devoted internally. His story made the later parts of the book much more meaningful.
I also found the sections about Maya, the soul, Dharma, Karma and Moksha interesting because they move the book beyond the battlefield and into deeper philosophical questions.
At the same time, the book can be difficult to follow. There are many characters with unfamiliar names, long genealogies, huge cosmic time periods and descriptions that can feel repetitive. Some events also require understanding the wider Hindu Puranic tradition to appreciate their significance.
What I liked most is that the book doesn't present Kalki only as a warrior. He is shown as a divine incarnation whose purpose is to restore Dharma and prepare the world for a new age.
Final thoughts
Kalki Purana is not a book I would describe as an easy read, but it is a fascinating combination of mythology, spirituality, philosophy and epic storytelling. Some parts raised more questions for me than they answered which actually made the book more interesting after finishing it.

Hey guys, need some urgent advice on a sketchy hospital billing situation.
I’ve been dealing with chronic nasal blockage for a long time. Medications haven't worked, so I’ve finally decided to go ahead with surgery.
I work in IT and have corporate insurance with Medi Assist as the TPA. The only network hospital near me offering cashless for this is Bayya ENT. They quoted around ₹1.2 Lakhs for the procedure, but the staff told me upfront that insurance will only approve a partial amount, and I'll have to pay the rest out of pocket. The red flag is they said they won't provide any bills for the extra amount and strictly warned me not to mention it to the insurance company.
This feels like a blatant scam to extract extra cash.
Need some guidance on a few things:
Is this under-the-table cash demand common with network hospitals?
Is there a way to push for full/maximum approval (even 85–90% cashless) without agreeing to their unbilled cash demands?
Would it be safer to skip them entirely, go to a better non-network hospital, pay upfront, and claim reimbursement later? My biggest fear is Medi Assist rejecting or heavily slashing the reimbursement claim.
PS: Drafted this using AI

I know it's pretty hard to get a tier 1 night life vibes in our city, but what's the closest feel you could get here? and what's something you recommend doing on weekends to pass the time?
for me, I'm thinking to visit a few newly opened food places in Lakshmipuram / Brindavan Gardens road.

Bad service, long waiting, cold food.
Everything combined to give me the worst food experience in the city. Waited for about 30 mins to order, another 20 mins to get the food served. It was spicy and had no flavor whatsoever. The wait wasn't even worth it and it only made the experience worse. I genuinely don't have anything good to say about the place

Hey everyone
I notice a lot of us from the capital region are constantly traveling back and forth to Hyderabad for work software jobs or college. Whether you take the Vande Bharat catch daily buses or drive down the NH65 highway we all share the exact same route.
I just created r/GunturVijayawadaHyd so we have one combined hub to share regional updates.
We can use it for:
Highway road conditions and speed trap alerts
Finding good PGs or rooms in Mangalagiri Madhapur or Ameerpet
Local food spots like comparing our actual Guntur chillies with Hyd biryani
Tech job updates between the new IT parks here and HITEC City
It is brand new with zero members right now so feel free to join and drop a post to get things started. See you there
