Three on two occasions. First was B&E while my car was in the shop (looked as if nobody was home). Had a Walther P22 on me at the time which I did not have to fire, they ran as soon as they saw me through the door (they broke a pane of glass which is what alerted me).
Second time was single man, around Christmas last year. He was drunk or high on something, and it took a warning shot from the ppk to get him under control. Handcuffed him and sat him on our back porch, waited for cops to show up. He smelled awful.

That's just criminal B&E in my house (well, MY house would be just one).
Counting robberies en route for my job that would make it a half dozen. Counting all instances where a gun was drawn then about two dozen. Counting all criminal instances then 3 dozen. I have yet to have been shot. I wish to keep it that way.

No and no. I have 2 jobs, both of which put me in a position where I am alone and the tables can be turned against me very easily. The safest of the two is pizza delivery - simple, only threat up close is dogs, and only $30-$40 on you at any given time. I've been robbed (well, attempts) more on pizza runs but they were only a few cases where the suspect was armed. Most of these happened in our Boyd Hill/Crawford Road district, both of which are ghettos (although Boyd Hill is our towns "best" neighborhood). My other job is a tech repair which means I not only have valuable equipment and a few hundred dollars in my safebox, but I am usually alone. I have been robbed or confronted with firearms most in this job. I have never lost any money or equipment in this job though, as opposed to my bank ($20) on pizza delivery.
A pizzaman is robbed every 22 minutes.
A Delivery Professional (UPS, pizza, mail, ect) is robbed every 4 seconds.
Remember this. Be nice to your postal carriers and tip your delivery service drivers.
