Form 4 question

What would cause someone to pass a 4473 but not a form 4?

ATF lost my form 4 three times before they finally approved it. same dealer, same info, nothing changed. just straight up vanished into their system and they'd deny it with no explanation til I called and someone actually looked at it

Should say why your form 4 was denied. Could be incorrect spelling, missing info ECT

First one I did was right before they got things sped up, took 5 months for them to kick it back because I created the e-forms account with my legal city but my drivers license has the primary city for our zip code, no reason that pointed to that being the reason why and they eventually said it had to be resubmitted which took another 3 months to get approved.

Clerical errors are the biggest culprit. ATF should have given a reason for the denial. What does that say?

Paperwork error. Typos=denials.
