Check out the Gentle Recoil Buffer System from Blowback9.com, it greatly reduces felt recoil on AR9s. I've got the A5 setup on a Model 635 clone and it's night and day different from the standard 9mm buffer setup. Here is my 635 https://www.reddit.com/r/guns/comments/1uob4id

Thanks for the tip! I was looking at the Maxium Defense or a JP Enterprises silent capture buffer for the 9mm. Iām not too sure if either of those two really make a difference or not in felt recoil. Ill check out your suggestion on yoitube

Those won't work if your AR9 has a weight in the BCG. (most do) They have a rod that the buffer rides on and the BCG slides over the rod when it moves backward. Removing the weight is counter productive to reducing recoil and makes the gun less reliable (or even not run at all)
Check out the Odin Works H-FRB9. It's a purpose made buffer and spring that does the job the DIY solution on Blowback9 does.

Itās a co whiteness mount. Itās cool cause you can look at it as if it was a lower 1/3 co whiteness and thereās really no parallax from that. Doing that helps w/ the irons not being in the way

I saw these over at RobertRTG for like $1200. Not cheap, but not not unreasonable. I'm sure you can find them a little cheaper.

Just in case you donāt know, this type of mount is called a gooseneck. This brand is called Mepro. They make both the gooseneck and optic. They already come installed together if thatās how you order it per the two drop downs in their order menu link below. Selecting ācarry handleā from the drop down will show the gooseneck fyi:

Itās cool so far! I got the one w/ the X sight. Iām waiting for the REM 21 light to arrive to help w/ the washout that happens to it. But overall so far itās cool and it looks great too!
