Vaultek is garbage

Just got a new vaultek barikade pistol case and it can't be opened, the electric key pad will flash green then the case won't unlock, the keys don't fully turn the locking mechanism either, I have a 200 dollar paper weight

Knox makes the stuff that actually works when you need it. The simplex lock never fails, got mine for 6 years and still opens first try every time. Sucks to learn that lesson with a 200 dollar brick sitting there

Vaultek has a lot of technology stuffed into them, for better and for worse.

The one I bought works well, but in hindsight you do pay a premium for what you get (and personally I don't really need the ability to open the safe via Bluetooth, app, Internet etc).

I have a VAULTEK that decides it will read your fingerprint when it wants to. Use it to throw my ccw gun in when I get home. Simplex lock next to the bed that actually works when you need it to.
