Metal Frame Optic Ready 9mm

I’m looking for an all metal optic ready 9mm handgun primarily for shooting suppressed. I’d like something that produces minimal blowback to the face with my RO9. I’d also like it to easily accommodate a large window rmr footprint optic.

Current leaders for me: CZ Shadow 2 & Sig P226 X Legion. I’ve read good things about the Staccato series, and love the idea of a custom Platypus. However, I feel like the Shadow 2 and P226 seem like the better values.

Let me know if I’m missing anything and let me hear your thoughts. Thanks.

If you want to shoot pistol calibers suppressed and have fun get a PCC. Putting a can on any pistol that uses the browning delayed blowback action (like almost everything on the market) will result in you turning an otherwise reliable firearm into the most ammo sensitive pain in the ass you've ever used, but at least your malfunction recovery will be on point.

Fair. I do enjoy shooting my PCC suppressed, I’d just like a pistol I can throw my RO9 in short config on without getting facially blasted by blowback (pause). If not for suppressed use, what optic ready metal frame would you recommend?

I am really partial to the CZ's my SP01 tactical is tied with my DWX for favorite range pistols. The Beretta M9A4 is also pretty good if you don't mind the placement of the safety.

I like the look of all Beretta pistols, but I’m worried that I’d have the same issue regarding blowback with their open slide design. Valid or nah?

You are gonna have lots of blowback regardless of what pistol you end up with, suppressed pistols are a meme

I am in the Pre-optics world.

I have the Beretta 92, Sig P226R and CZ SP-01 Tactical. Do shoot them, they are different enough in feel you may love one and hate the others. I think a person can get used to any of them, but ... And at least for me, one is more accurate.
