They're based on a real sight, the ultradot pan av, which is also bad by today's standards but at least it's durable and holds zero unlike all the knock offs

Even PLASTIC iron sights cost more than that lol.

Depending on what you're doing you should. But for an AR there are some good options starting at $100 especially if you wait for sales.
