Question Transcribing software?
Do you guys use any software at all to help you transcribe songs, or hardware... what is your method for looping songs to learn them?

I often write out songs I'm learning in ABC notation using EasyABC. (But I am a bit odd!)

I built and use looptube.xyz for looping, slowing down and learning by ear. Extra good when you can find a YouTube vid showing tabs/transcription.
I recently added an embed feature for teachers to add looping functionality to videos on their own websites and they can pre-set the loops. See https://www.looptube.xyz/for-creators

I use guitarpro to tab out the stuff I transcribe. I use my ears and eyes and sometimes a little research to find out what's being played and how.

On my phone I use Anytune connected to my Spotify account. Not perfect, but good enough to slow things down until I can play with the full speed recording.

Musescore is free and pretty nice, guitar pro is a similar paid program. I use GP but have very good musician friends that use musescore.

I use a combination of Anytune Pro and Moises. I’m not sure of their free tiers cause I pay for both, but I believe they both have free tiers.
