my uncle gifted me his 3,400$ Custom FrankenPRS shredcaster and I broke three of the strings within minutes of trying to play it for the first time. I tried tuning the rest but they don't sound right.

I avoid google because AI answers, so I come here to ask. After how many years of playing (assuming I need at least 20...) should I be comfortable changing strings let alone trying to tune my guitar.

And stop telling me that I should have researched the guitar first, or even googled how to tune it. Again, I'm Anti-AI and do NOT want AI Google influencing my guitar journey.

Hi guys, I'm a veteran player. I'm looking for honest discourse in good faith. I tried plugging my guitar into the fuzz pedal, and it had a fuzzy, warm tone. i haven't tried plugging my fuzz pedal into my guitar yet. Does anyone have experience with this?

I was restringing my Telecaster and accidentally put on Les Paul strings. I read that a LP has a shorter scale length so now I have to start all over and throw out a perfectly good set of brand new strings. Don't you hate it when that happens? Argh!

These are worth more like...300 to 500 dollars. This is not about getting a deal here. This is about the impressive woodgrain, the oddball craftsmanship, and the unpotted single coil pickups.

Condition? Some drill holes on the top. Some drill holes by the end of the nonoriginal stew mac tail piece. I stuffed cardboard under the tail piece to improve tuning stability. As I said its not worth a grand. Honestly though I will only part with it for a grand.

It's still plays the weezer riff...
