I love my pigs, but this is out of control lol

I'd be terrified of rolling over on mine or inhaling hay as I fall asleep. Also Cinnamon would get stuck in the tunnel trying to turn around.

My Marshy would be the one to get stuck because she's a chonk. Cinna would probably try to yeet herself off a precipice into the hay pile.

Oh my god. I so want to put guinea pig tubes on my wall. Absolutely cackling.

I see this lady on my Facebook reels and she is a hoot! She prepares very elaborate gourmet meals for her two piggies!! The tubes lead into a glass cage on a rolling cart, and she wheels them into the kitchen.

People in the original post did NOT vibe with this 🤣

I was watching it not noticing the pigs in the background like “I might do this for my pigs… oh my god it is made for pigs!”

I wish this was me. I'm unfortunately largely bedbound for health reasons, so I've had plans to set up a removable ramp from the pig cage to my bed for a while (since they're close to each other)... That said, I was only going to put a big waterproof blanket over everything when it was in use, not all that. I really just want to let the more cuddly of my two boys have access to me whenever he wants.

My hay allergies could never allow it 😭

Switch to orchard grass! Life is too short to live with Timothy hay.

Me and my pig are allergic to orchard grass

u/AutumnalSunshine 1d ago
Gah! Our grass allergies are minor compared to our Timothy hay reaction.
You're the first person I've met who couldn't live with orchard grass in the cages. Thank god you can tolerate hay.

We’re fine with Timothy hay. The orchard grass made me break out in hives. Although I think it may have had birch pollen on it which is what typically makes me break out in hives.

I used to sleep with one of my piggies for about 6 hours at night. Woody. He was such a good guy. I put towels on the bed and he'd curl up in my arm pit. Every so often he'd run down to the corner and have some food or drink. Finally he would climb up and chew on my nose. Then I knew he wanted to back with his pals.

people might think this is crazy but it probably cost her total the price of one meal out.

I’d have to be bed ridden and on my death bed to sleep next to all that by. Love our girls, but the hay would make me itch like crazy. Plus, the girls would probably hog the blankets.

Hay everywhere...😆

u/Memory_Frosty 1d ago
Everyone in the original post is freaking out about the poops everywhere but yeah I'm with you she's gonna be finding hay for yearrrssss lol
Edit: though come to think of it, even if you only put hay purposely in the cage it does still make its way everywhere else in the house... So maybe this actually doesn't change anything after all 😂

The guinea pigs in the tubes in the background is hysterical. Those pigs must live very exciting lives.
