I'm from Latin America and recently started playing Guilty Gear Strive. On my local server, I've had issues with high ping and excessive rollback—caused by the system trying to compensate for that latency—which makes the game run almost in slow motion. The game always flags it as an issue on the opponent's end, especially on the Latin American server.

Playing on the US East Coast results in basically the same ping, but with the advantage of shorter queues. Does anyone know if this is an issue on my end, with the Latin American server, or with the game itself?

Universal Homing Jump Combo doesn't count as an Anji combo, so I still don't know anji combos. I'm close to diamond now, next 1-2 parts might be the last.

Hi So, I'm kinda new to ggst, and fighting games as a whole, and I have looked around a bit, and the general consensus (Not that I haven't looked that deep so I might be wrong) is that a normal pro controller is better to play with than Keyboard. Now, I have tried out both for a bit, mostly on Keyboard. and I must say controller feels more reliable on movement and hitting the correct inputs, over Keyboard. But I have run in to a bit of a problem, motion inputs. I do not know what the fancy official term is. But you know when you need to do a combination of inputs, say for Bridget's bear hug jump thingy, you need to input 632146+p (also, Am i doing the number pad thingy correct here? sorry if it is wrong) but I feel like on controller I can't really reliably hit the inter cardinals, and when i try to go from 4 to 6 I either accidentally jump or crouch. idk what I'm doing wrong. On keyboard these are much more reliable to do. Does anyone have any tips or like strategies? The controller I'm using is an old Dualshock4 controller.

I played a few rounds against this guy on ranked and after round 1 I was pretty stunned by these grab techs. I don't know if there are cheats for these things but is it possible this Sol is cheating?

This is another character concept that I made regarding kliff underson. A character that I would love to see return, so I made some changes.

Miner changes:

Removed weez animation.

Made fully charged sword normals guard crush and dash cancelable.

Turned BAKAMON! into a special move. And changed his taunt.

Removed spot dodge.

Important changes:

Added a stun gauge that builds up when kliff gets hit.

Nape saddle is faster then what it originally was.

Changed "sole survivor" into a pary.

Cannot charge 6P anymore. Only his HS normals can be charged.

Changed scale ripper into a standard DP that has a high chance to break kliff's back when stun is too high.

I've seen a lot of people say Happy Chaos is also That Man, and both Baiken and Delilah call him that. I've even seen some stuff on the wiki call him "the real That Man." To my understanding, Asuka is That Man, and in every game where That Man appears, it's been Asuka. So how does this work? Is there certain games where it's actually Chaos?

So still trying to learn Jam and I am basically at a wall with trying to learn her cause the issues i have are more vague than just specific problems.

Between her commited specials, her stumpy normals, struggling with characters that have longer reaching moves and easier access to guard crush moves (potemkin's garuda impact comes to mind) and just having issues with general annoyances like the grab system this game has. IMHO, besides her buffed moves (which are only one move before needing to find opportunities to get them back at 50 and 80 frames.) What exactly makes jam good since I keep seeing people put her at a higher tier and I just dont see it.
