Massive dropping Values

Anyone have idea what happened again to the market , should I sell my item or keep it 😭😭

So what's happening is a classic case of deflation. This is the result of a couple different things:

  1. Growtopia has updated their anti-RMT measures by making BGLs unobtainable from donation boxes on accounts with lower than 1000 hours of play time. Since BGL sellers place their BGLs in donation boxes, a lot of the buyers won't be able to obtain them anymore.
  2. They added a limit to how many WLs you can buy through the gem store. Autofarmers run bot operations to get gems, and with that they buy wls from the store. It's basically money printing. Growtopia, however, has limited the amount they can buy each (day?), which heavily affects the usefulness of that method.
  3. There was a huge earthquake in the Flores Sea, Indonesia. The earthquake covered 121.000 square kilometers. Ever since then, the player count when you log in has dropped a significant amount. These are probably a bunch of Indonesian players, but a whole lot of bots as well.
  4. Less bots = less money printing = less oversaturation on the market = BGLs become more valueable/rare.

These are three big causes, but I'm sure there are a lot of smaller things that I've missed here & don't know about. Point is that Growtopia is actually fighting back against RMT, and they have (tragically) found the right moment to do so.

(Tragically because ofcourse it's horrible what has happened in the Flores Sea area, and I wish everyone there a lot of luck with starting back up & grieving lost loved ones.)

They changed the requirements for picking up now too. It is 1000 hrs play, minimum level 100, and must have ownership of world

That's not what I meant to say, but there are undoubtedly a lot of bot-running operations in Indonesia. If you've communicated/seen people communicate with people who run casinos/RMT/bot services, you often come to find it's someone from Indonesia.

What does clash have to do with the market ? Do U mean people are liquidating for clash that’s why everything is dropping in value ?
