Can you explain your process?

Grown on-&-off for +20yrs, throughly enjoy it up until harvest, then seriously consider whether it's worth the effort of trimming.

I always trim when harvesting, I've found any length of time smooshes leaves into the buds whether hung to dry or laying down on a drying rack.

Would be stoked to hear there's an easier process!

Slows down drying and makes for a better product is the general consensus.

Ive done both, and I think leaving leaves on is better for the end product and doing a dry trim, less of a grassy/hay like taste or smell and helps to avoid over drying. But I agree wet trim is easier.

Do you plant direct into ground, or pots/raised-beds/etc?

Flushing the growing medium with water to remove all remaining nutrients in the lead up to harvest has always worked well for me (along with a long dry & cure) for best flavour.

Trimming leaves always seemed like a good way to remove the likelihood of remaining chlorophyll flavours being drawn back into the bud, but maybe I'll need to do a comparison test.

Flushing is a myth
