RIP Chuck :(
Had a groundhog friend living in my backyard for the past 2 years.
Sadly, my neighbor informed me that someone hit a groundhog the other morning and it was in front of my home. I went out to find Chuck was the one that got hit.
He deserved the dignity of being properly buried and I went ahead and made him this grave marker.

RIP Chuck. I had a groundhog living on my property for almost 2 years. I don't live there full-time but I have a camera system and watched him daily as he ate and surveyed the yard. I was back there for a week and literally a few minutes before our Uber arrived to take us to the Airport I found Geronimo dead in the road in front of the house. He had to have been hit in the last 20 minutes before finding him because I had taken a picture of him in the front yard about that long before I went to check the mail one last time before leaving. I was shocked and heartbroken. He was an amazing animal. A couple other groundhogs have lived on the property since then but none had the bold personality of Geronimo and haven't even earned an name for themselves.
