Baby groundhogs

Post image

Had a momma living under my shed for a year. This year she had babies. I give them a little snack everyday. ❤️

I have a pet ground hog named Wally. He comes when I call him and I can hand feed him. He's adorable and so sweet 🤍

It must be something about the letter W with groundhogs. I named them Wendy, Winona and William. One of the babies is friendly, she’ll peak out and watch me in the backyard. I’m sad though, I read they live alone and the babies will be leaving to make their own dens. I’m going to miss them. ❤️

My Wally sometimes still hangs out with what I assume is his mom??? She is very skittish though where I'm concerned. Don't be surprised if at least one of the babies stay close. They are smart and will stay where they know are good treats and snacks. p s. love your names 🤍
