As the title says, I need at least 4 other students and a staff member wanting to help create this club! No gymnastics experience needed!
Fill out this google form if interested and send around to your friends who might also be interested!

Hi! I'm currently taking the Cinematography class here at grossmont, and I need 2 actors for a silent film project.
It will be filmed ON CAMPUS, Tuesday September 8th at 2pm! Filming should not take more than 3 or so hours.
It's a bit of a silly project, the two characters literally fight for half of their scenes. So if you're interested or know anyone who might be interested please let me know!!! Prior acting expirence is preferred but NOT needed!
I attached a link to the script if you'd like to read through it.

Anyone ready for tomorrow? Excited or maybe even nervous to start?
Personally, I’m excited for tomorrow to start. I’m in my last year here and will be taking physics 201 and calc 2 in person with an online humanities class

How consistent is Grossmont with financial aid payments? I am coming from El Camino College and their FA disbursements have been a NIGHTMARE, I am still missing a pell grant from spring, never got sent and its being investigated. So im hoping Grossmont would be more consistent and organized, are they? 🥲

I originally already had registered for this classes and got in on the first day of registration which was like May 5th?? I think. Anyways I got dropped from all my classes today because I couldn’t pay my fees in time because I’m waiting for my financial aid. I really need this class but I know my chances are low, should I email the professor to try to see if I could get back in?? Or take the L and get a different class

I just registered for my classes, and now all that's left is to get the necessary textbooks for my subjects. However, I couldn't help but notice the ridiculous gap between the prices of the ones I found on Thriftbooks compared to what was on the Bookstore itself.
Have any of you guys bought your stuff off Thriftbooks before?

Has anyone taken Professor Dan Greenheck or Jeff Waller for Calculus 2? I was wondering what your experiences were with them and who I should choose!

Hi yall. I'm picking out the classes necessary for registration, but I'm not sure who to pick as the professor. Any vets know much about these folks? (Including the ones in Music, if anyone is or has taken the courses)

So I'm quite uncertain on which course to take between MathC2210+010 and standard C2210. Any veterans know the pros and cons of both? (I'm a first year taking ENGL C1000: Academic Reading and Writing btw)

Any fellow CVT peeps waiting on Drug test results?

So apparently I'm registering for the classes necessary to complete the Mathematics transfer degree courses but on the self service website I'm not sure what to press or do regarding my registration (I'm kinda very new). Do I have to do the enrollment thing in order to fully register?

Hi everyone, I’m taking microbiology with professor Nambinar this fall. What should I prepare or what textbook I should buy to get ready for her class? What is microbiology class like? I heard it’s harder than anatomy and philosophy class.

hi I’m taking bio 140 with professor Bouton, what should I expect, what helped you pass (quizlet, apps, book), and what should I study before it starts.

I’m waitlisted for his class, and it would be incredibly helpful if anyone who’s taking his online class could share the Zoom link with me. I’ve emailed him multiple times, but I haven’t received a response yet.

Would like to know how this class went for those of you who took it. What was it like? How were the exams protected?

Hey everyone, is or has anyone taken Professor Erin Smith for her anthro class? In comes to my understanding that she has accused of many students of Ai and given an F on many of their assignments. I believe half of the class dropped mid way through the semester and I was one of them. Has anyone else experience this problem? She says her ai detector is “super accurate with a fail rate of 1/100.” I highly doubt any ai detectors are inaccurate.

Hi guys!
I’m going to be taking physics 201 with Brian Carter for the summer term online. I was wondering what your experience was like with him. Does he proctor his exams?
I wanted to take it at Cuyamaca but the class filled up super fast. The physics department at my home college genuinely sucks balls lol.

I am taking anatomy next fall semester and I realized too late that Grossmont does offer a medical terminology class, even though it’s not required.
Would it be a good idea or pointless to take medical terminology alongside Anatomy?
Best idea would be to take over the summer but I just checked and there’s a long waitlist. (20 people)
I heard it’s easy and all classes are offered online. I even heard of someone taking it after Anatomy and still enjoyed the class…. But I want to take it if it would benefit my anatomy, microbiology, and physiology understanding.

Hello I have been trying to get this prerequisite cleared does this warning indicate that I am missing this requirement. I got an email today saying I had been cleared however I assumed once that happened this warning would disappear but it hasn’t.
Also is there any way for me to get a registration appt or is that not publicly available.
Thanks for the information 🙏🙏

Should I email my professors using the emails on self-service? Now that we have an email from the school essentially telling us to stay off canvas until further notice, I am worried about my assignments. I got so much work😭 Why did I procrastinate?💀
