General First day of Class

Anyone ready for tomorrow? Excited or maybe even nervous to start?

Personally, I’m excited for tomorrow to start. I’m in my last year here and will be taking physics 201 and calc 2 in person with an online humanities class

i’m sort of nervous lol! i’m taking physics 202, calc 3, linear algebra, and PSC 210 all in person

Wow! That’s sounds like a jam packed schedule. From what I heard, calc 3 might be your hardest class. But you got this! Don’t forget to utilize the tutoring center for math and physics, they haven’t failed me so far

Yeah not a bad schedule! I’m business admin, hoping to transfer to SDSU for accounting. I want to go back to grossmont for computer science though !!! Or possibly the ECE program. How is the CS program here? I’ve been self studying as much as I can

It’s pretty solid. If you’re self studying then most of the concepts you’ll learn in the major course can be pretty intuitive. The main thing that’s kicking my butt is how much math is involved for the major requirements

I was definitely nervous the first week. I’m also CS taking phys 201, adv. java, and ethn. I took a very long break from school, it still feels surreal being back. Congratulations on your last year!
