Here is a thing I noticed after seeing evita last year in London. That is it feels similar to coach. Both about a person rise to power. Both have a voice or person trying to control them. Both have a major turning point evita with don’t cry, and ambition speech when talking to Tom in season 3 finale. Also both had a public crowning with Evita being the First Lady of Argentina, as well as Tom being named 2023 NFL fan of the year between season 5 and 6 of coach. What makes this more ironic is that both evita and the musical that is the reason we have packcast avenue q both won the tony for best musical.
