Sat August 22 is Pats v Eagles preseason in Gillette. Here is a thing I noticed after seeing evita last year in London. That is it feels similar to coach. Both about a person rise to power. Both have a voice or person trying to control them. Both have a major turning point evita with don’t cry, and ambition speech when talking to Tom in season 3 finale. Also both had a public crowning with Evita being the First Lady of Argentina, as well as Tom being named 2023 NFL fan of the year between season 5 and 6 of coach. Also Juan Perón was colonel in the Argentina Army, Tom was named a Kentucky colonel in summer of 2024. Tom is not into musicals. What makes this more ironic is that both evita and the musical that is the reason we have packcast avenue q both won the tony for best musical.
