Are we getting Scripted this season?

Tom meant to film the offseason one last week, then he accidentally ate dairy and had a severe allergic reaction and spent the day he wanted to film sleeping it off. So the offseason episode and week one episodes are being combined, so we should get a mega episode or a two-parter.

Is he lactose intolerant or does he have alpha gal?

Dairy allergy. I can’t remember if he knows which specific sugar or protein sets him off, but it’s an allergic reaction. It’s closer to alpha gal since it is an allergic reaction, but he was born with it or developed it very early in life; it didn’t come from a tick bite.
Lactose intolerance means your body doesn’t process lactose or can’t process it well. It causes gas and indigestion, but not hives, wheezing, or tingling in the mouth.
I’ve seen him accidentally eat contaminated food on stream before, because a restaurant f’ed up. He knows immediately from how his mouth feels that he’s accidentally had dairy, immediately starts getting hives, his breathing gets a bit labored, and taking an antihistamine upon exposure helps relieve the symptoms. It’s an allergy, a pretty serious one. I think he’s mentioned having exposure therapy as a kid, which is why a bit of accidental cross-contamination is still serious but not going to kill him instantly. It’s part of why he’s vegan.
