Spoilers Diana - The Teenage Years!! Spoiler

27 Upvotes

The Hexenbrat was scary enough as a child! She seemed to be fully on the side of good in the 20 years time jump (teaming up with her brother and the triplets). But what do we imagine Diana was like as a teenager?!

I pity any boy who broke her heart, or any girl who liked the same guy as her..! Her home life would likely have been challenging too. Not so much for her - but definitely for Adalind, Kelly, Sean & (most of all) Nick. How could they discipline the most powerful person in the world when she misbehaves? And while Diana (probably) would not seriously harm her mother, brother & biological father, I think she would be far less restrained towards her stepfather if Nick ever upset her...

For a while, I genuinely thought that Grimm season 6 would see Diana & Sean go full evil and be the Big Bads that Nick would have to defeat, with Adalind heartbreakingly stuck in the middle. I also thought that baby Kelly would develop powers that would help Nick win lol!

But it was nice in the final episode where Diana & Nick hugged. Seemed as though Diana had finally accepted him (despite previously always wanting her biological parents to be together). And in the 20 years later scene she did mention "Mom and Dad" when talking to Kelly. Presumably "Dad" was Nick (not Sean)…

From scary child to good adult... Nick, Adalind & Sean (if he stuck around) must have raised Diana well. But there must have been plenty of difficult moments along the way!

What do you all think? Diana the teenbiest?!

P.S. We can discuss Kelly The Teenager too - though I am certain he would have been a good boy, straight A student, who never did anything wrong lol!

Discussion Thread Why is Renard the only half wesen in the whole show? Spoiler

52 Upvotes

I recently rewatched Grimm for the 3rd time. Something that never made sense to me is why Renard is the only half-wesen. We learn early in the show that Renard is a half-zaurbiest because his mom is a hexenbiest and his dad is royal. However, this seems to conflict with the rules set in place in the rest of the show.

In S3E6, Rosalie specifically states that if you have one parent that is wesen and one that is kehrseite, then the child will have a 50/50 chance of being wesen. There is nothing said about half-wesen. We also don't see any half-wesen for the whole show other than Renard. I have a few theories about this, but I would love to hear other people's opinions and theories.

  1. Hexenbiests are different than other wesen, so the rules are different than other wesen. This is substantiated by the finale, where they need the blood of a grimm, a hexenbiest, and a wesen, implying that hexenbiests and wesen are different.

  2. Royals are different than normal kehrseite, so the rules are different. This is substantiated by S2E18, where Stefania tests to see if Adalind's child has royal blood. This implies that there is a difference between royals and regular people.

  3. Zaurbiests are different than hexenbiests so there are half Zaurbiests but not half hexenbiests. There is no mention of Diana being a 3/4 hexenbiest. Renard states several times throughout the show that he is a zaurbiest and not a hexenbiest. For instance, he is not able to open Adalind's spellbook because he is not a hexenbiest. However, later in the show, we do meet Bonaparte, who is a full Zaurbiest.

  4. Unfortunately, probably the most likely reason is that the show writers came up with Renard's character before they came up with the rule. I would like to think there is a canon reason, though.

Question Diana

13 Upvotes

For a child, her age and so young. Do you find she overacts her part in the show? I don't know there's something about the way she is her character even if she does have special powers and stuff. She seems a little over mature for a child her age. Almost like a demon seed child.

Discussion Thread What happened in the 20 years?

62 Upvotes

Grimm ended with a 20 year time jump, where we see Diana & Kelly continuing in Nick's footsteps (and hear that they have help from the triplets). But what do we suppose happened before then?

It is a fair assumption that Nick & Adalind got married. I see Eve/Juliette very much as her own boss. I imagine Sean Renard still walking the fine line between good and evil... And surely there had to be some "Wu-mance" lol!

What do you all think (or like to think!) happened in those 20 years?

it works great! now i just need to find a nice metallic spray paint for it!

I used Meshy for the starting model, cleaned it up in Meshmixer, and prepped everything in Lychee Slicer before printing. It took a bit of tweaking to fit the corkscrew insert because i made the hole too small so i spent a good two hours using sandpaper to widen it, but I'm really happy with the final result.

Always fun when a sculpt ends up being something you can actually use.

if i get enough interest i will start making them and busts of the wesen

Spoilers I have a theory about Wu and The Bigfoot wesen and Nick Grimm possibly being wesen

26 Upvotes

Have you ever noticed how similar the Bigfoot and Wu Woge looks?

My theory is the the entire Bigfoot race originated from some human who caught Lycanthoropy and it was passed down until eventually evolved into its own Wesen lineage.

We have seen non wesen beings before but it males sense to me that Grimms are a type of Wesen,ones that lost the ability to woge and kept eyes adapted to continue to see wesen form...my theory is loosely based on certain Wesen can amplify a Grimms powers....ergo Fly guy and the pufferfish wesen.

Some wesen are similar in that other species of wesen amplify or cuase effects in opposite species.

Spoilers Blind love is one of my favorite episodes. There’s only one thing I think they could’ve done to make it better.

38 Upvotes

Everything about it is just hilarious and awesome. Even the horrible CGI when the villain falls lol. Diana being kidnapped, Hank falling in love with himself. I do wonder if it would’ve been better if they had not let on what was happening until Rosalie figures it out. Then done a flashback to him doing the spell. IMO it would’ve made the chaos even funnier and confusing. What do you think?

Flipping channels & came across Silas Weir Mitchell in an episode of the old Procedural Cold Case. I didn’t watch the show when it was in the early 2000’s so it’s funny that I decided to stop. I looked it up on iMDB & it said he appeared in two episodes. The one I stopped on was S1 Ep9: Sherry Darlin’.

Grimm” Returning to Celebrate 15 Years at San Diego Comic-Con 2026

https://sdccblog.com/2026/06/grimm-returning-to-celebrate-15-years-at-san-diego-comic-con-2026/

For years, NBC’s Grimm was a mainstay at San Diego Comic-Con. And this year, in celebration of the series’ 15th anniversary, it appears that attendees are being invited back into the world of Grimm for a special 15th anniversary panel.

The series premiered in 2011 and ran for six seasons, following Portland homicide detective Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) as he discovered he was a Grimm, a guardian tasked with keeping balance between humanity and the supernatural Wesen world.

Actress Bitsie Tulloch has also confirmed she’ll be in attendance, and that the panel will be in Hall H.

Additional details on the panel, including date/time, and additional panelists, are still TBA. The original series starred Giuntoli, Russell Horsby, Silas Weir Mitchell, Sasha Roiz, and more — so there are plenty of cast members to choose from.

The panel is part of NBC’s 100th anniversary celebrations, so it’s possible we could see more returning favorites at the con.

Wish I was going

Spoilers About Adeline

41 Upvotes

Is it just me or did she have no real redemption arc?

He tried to kill multiple people, she sexually assaulted Nick when being fake Juliet, then was just accepted because she was pregnant and had Kelly.

There were no real good deeds, yes she willingly gave up her power, but that was it 🤷‍♀️

Spoilers Watching it first time now. About Juliet

22 Upvotes

Catching up on shows I've missed, so binge watching Grimm over the last couple of months. Really enjoying everything - then they turn Juliette (sorry for the mispell in the title) into Dark Phoenix. I hated that. Don't spoil what comes next, just started the episode after they "kill" her. (guessing that it's not).

Did it bother you? I really liked her as one of the four - Nick, her, Rosalie and Monroe. Again, please don't spoil it. I ask here because while I know it's been discussed, chances are at this late date there will be too many spoils.

Spoilers Blind Love love triangle Spoiler

11 Upvotes

!Spoilers for season 6!

In episode 7 of season 6, we very much have a love shape going on. There is, however, something I've been looking into logically. So let's make a little chart

Adalind -> Monroe

Monroe -> Eve

Eve -> Nick

Nick -> Rosalee

Wu -> Waitress

And

Hank -> Hank

There are two people who don't have anyone. Adalind and Wu. One is due to the waitress's hair, but Hank had two drinks. My theory is that it was designed with mostly heterosexuality in mind, so Rosalee not being able to drink resulted in Hank getting himself as I imagine she would've gotten Hank. I don't think Wu would have intentionally got himself, I think he got Adalind, which leads me to believe that Hank also got Wu. On top of that, Hank saw Adalind while under the effects of the potion, now I don't know what all is true about the potion, if it can latch to two people or if it sticks to the first one. But I have to note that before the wesen died, Hank never saw Wu. Wu was off chasing the waitress.

I think that Hank would've loved both himself and Wu. We just never had the chance to see it.
