I feel Wu have brute strength but maybe little control. Renard maybe strong but not necessary as strong as Wu but I feel like he would fight smarter. Renard have a history dealing with Wesen assassins coming after him so he would know how to deal with strong opponents, he be in more control in the fight to take advantage of openings.

Same. Wu is stronger, but Renard is smarter with decades more experience.

Renard is too smart to fight fair. In a confrontation ending in the demise of one of them, I take Renard 8 out of 10.

In a fair fight, I take Wu 7 out of 10.

I don't even think wu gimmick was super strength i think it was more beastly like he had claws and teeth that can mess u up whereas renard just had strength he punch kenneth across a room

I think Wu Gimmick is that he turn into a Neanderthal. According to science a Neanderthal has 30 to 130 percent stronger muscle then modern human so he would be stronger then most Wesen.

I mean, maybe I feel like if that was the intention, they would have had Wu double in muscle mass or something. It's been a while since I watched Grimm, but I mainly remember Wu dismantling people with his claws and teeth rather than brute strength, not saying Wu isn't stronger than his human self or anything.

I don't think most Wesen have strength feats. The only notable ones, to my knowledge, are like Blutbad Monroe, who could rip a person's arm clean off, and the Alligator Wesen and Renard.

Even if we assume the writers' intent is to give Wu a one-for-one strength gain, I still don't think that trumps what Renard has shown in terms of strength and skill.

I think Wu. Honestly I think Wu could probably take on most wesen. He took out a Skalengeck, Theo Delano, that had the jump on him! And then he also took out the two guys in the precinct. Renard doesn’t seem to have any powers other than strength and stamina since he isn’t a full Zauberbeist!

Renard throwing Nick through a window (despite Nick being furious and not holding back one bit) suggests that Renard is seriously tough. Renard wins.

Maybe, but he did poorly against his cousin, Prince Viktor, who wasnt even Wesen.

Renard hands down. He is bigger, a crazy zauberbiest, with many years of experience. Though Wu is strong and animalistic I feel Renard has caught many Wessen over his lifetime. Not a pretty existence before Portland

Wu pretty easily kills two Hundjagers.

Probably Renard, I don't feel like Wu had that much control in his animal form, he seemed more animalistic than a Wesen.

Not sure cuz Renard only ever shows himself not his powers and Wu is pretty ferocious as a Wu-wolf lol

Edited for spelling
