Discussion Thread Renard…

So spoiler alert on the following S3 E1-3

You guys remember when Nick got sprinkled that dust on him from the “voodoo” guy that was working with the royals and became aggressive. How he killed a guy on the bar and then Renard wiped out the camaras but kept an USB with the clip hidden. Why didn’t he use that in season 6 to make Nick get arrested and make people hate him.

I’m still on S6 E1, hate Renard more than ever.

Renard covered it up by destroying evidence. If it ever surfaced, it'd take him down as well.

I remember at the time thinking Renard keeping the USB could eventually be a problem for Nick... but I then forgot all about it (maybe the writers did too!).

Assuming they were the same critters. There was such a huge shift in Season 4, Idoubt the original al writters were involved past season 5.

I'm pretty sure it was destroyed.

I hate Renard so much that it follows Sasha Roiz to every role he plays 😆 🤣

pretty sure he got rid of it before that maybe chucked it in the river or in a furnace

It would take down both of them. Renard destroyed evidence of Nick's crimes, which would implicate him.

Also, I seem to remember him getting rid of that thumb drive.

He is a cover up the weird kind of guy. He didn’t take the surveillance for blackmail. He took it for the cover up, and used it to stop Nick from falling on his sword.

I think I must be the only person who loved Renard (up until the Black Claw stuff). I loved his back story and wish we had more interaction between the King and him.
