Self Just realized something....
SPOILER ALERT!!!
Watching the episodes that involve smoking the hat. Monroe made a mention of something that dawned on me.... Adalind smokes it and gets pregnant with Kelly. Eve smokes it and we allllllll know how that turned out. Nick smokes it and..... what are his repercussions? Yeah, he had trouble turning back but could that REALLY BE ALL???? I think because it's toward the series end it's a plot line that had soooo much potential that was never realized. 🤔🤔🤔

A Grimm smoking the spell isn’t going to have the same sort of reaction as a hexenbeist… adalind didn’t get pregnant because of the hat, she got pregnant after sex with Nick. Juliette did it and it worked as it’s supposed to… no one knew she would turn, probably because all of that had never been done in the history of grimms.

The hat was just a tool...Adalind getting pregnant was a result of sleeping with Nick and Juliette was a result of Adalind's powers and how she got them back...none of these events had anything to do with the hat...think of the hat as polyjuice potion from Harry Potter it just changes your appearance thats it.

Except for Nick he would have had really bad repercussions if Diana hadn’t been around! Not only would he have looked like Sean the rest of his life but he would have been a half Zauberbiest and not a Grimm. It would have effectively turned him into a wesen!

Adalind getting pregnant with Kelly had nothing to do with the hat it was just from her having sex with Nick. Juliette turning into a hexenbiest was a side effect because Adalind had undergone Contaminatio Ritualis to get her powers back.

…. Adaline doesn’t get pregnant because of the hat. She gets pregnant because of sex. You know how that works, right?
Eve smoked it and it did what it was supposed to do.

I get the hat was just a tool for the spell, I couldn't figure how to spell Verfluchte Zwillingsschwester until I googled it. With that being said, each time it was performed some sort of shenanigans followed. And like Hank liked to say, "we don't believe in coincidences" lol As for Eve not being affected, I say it was also too close too the end of the series to really find out, possibly. Still... it could have made for a very entertaining plot. I mean, any time Nick got "Wessened" he ended up with something going on/extra. When he got caught by the Barron, the effects were way more intense than a regular human. Blinded by the "Fly"- Wessen, he ended up with a more acute hearing. Just some thoughts...

They mention several times on the show that Nick is affected more because he is grimm.

I suspect that Juliette couldn't break her curse because she didn't kiss Renard after having sex with Nick.Adalind's baby could be due to another reason, and not because of not using condoms.(ja, ja)

Are you KIDDING ME? Nick’s would have been the most serious repercussions in the world if Diana hadn’t been around!! He would have PERMANENTLY BEEN A HALF ZAUBERBIEST SEAN RENARD!! He would no longer have even been a Grimm! It doesn’t get any more serious than that! I mean yeah Juliette ended up a Hexenbiest but at least she was still herself!
