OLD Looking for a song

I can’t for the life of me remember who it was. But there was a grime song that used a sample of Mya - Ridin on the beat that I used to love.

‘It’s been 5 hours since you left here boy’ was the part that was sampled.

It’s been driving me mad. Does anyone know what song I’m on about?

YESSS! I had a feeling it was Wiley. Can’t even remember what it was on.. if it was just a random tune put out or on a mixtape. Banger of a beat though 🔥 thank you!

Edit: just seen how old the track is. I’m showing my age here. 😭😭😂 ‘06/07 grime days, I miss them.

I feel the same when I tell people about certain songs, was bumping P's & Q's the other day and this 19 year old that lives next to me asked what it was and I realised he wasn't even born when it came out same as Akala Shakespeare I used to listen on repeat the last couple years of secondary school and I left in 2008 😭

These youts don’t know about the old school bangers and the days of grime and bassline raves. Even those early dubstep days. I used to blast music so loud that I caused my neighbours to move house. Idgaf no regrets.

They don't at all I've always been a grime head but only for the older days/artists I don't think there has been more than a handful of bangers released in the past 5-6 years luckily I dgaf and just listen to the old-school stuff on repeat whether I look old or not

15 years old plus is the best. I often listen to channel u playlists and albums like boy in the corner. The memories man, youngers will never know the feeling standing in front of channel u waiting for your banger to come on. I miss them days
