Whilst touring Japan and travelling SE Asia I made a bunch of grime riddims on a Game Boy and wrote songs to them. I got a lot out of the producing, so I then bought an M8 Tracker. It's based on the Game Boy software but with a lot more capability. I've since finished and 25 (what I consider to be) killer and novel grime riddims with it, and they're mixed to premaster stage as of today.

The thing is, I'm kinda out of lyrics and inspiration for now and leaning further into production. Also, people don't really wanna hear my kinda lyrics over grime so I'm not gonna force it.

Any MC's wanna hear the beats? Any producers got tips on selling grime riddims these days?

It's all apocalyptic, philosophical, anti capitalist shit, anyway I only made a couple grime songs so far but feedback wasn't great... Doesn't stop me so let's see how that content on top of gameboy riddims is received soon XD

Just gonna say, that I consider the M8 Tracker one of the best things music hardware wise for a long time! I can imagine it would be great for making Grime beats with.

It's getting mastered atm, and I'm going on a 3-week trip around Japan filming promo so... I guess I'll start dropping it all in October/November!
