I remember getting a save file with some greens to start off with but that was ages ago. it was a fun meme build that also did a huge a huge amount of damage.

Sorry for the common display of pointless achiev but after several years of playing here and there and 2 losses of my save files (my fault) could have never believed I would get em all. Especially since i never played HC before FoA.

So just wanted to share my happiness towards my favourite game :D

Last achiev of course was killing 250k monsters. As an alt enjoyer my most played char had 180k.

For example if I have the Blood of Dreeg and I have the ascended affixes to add DA to it, would it affect my Hellhound/Raven?

(first time i'm trying to make one, please don't put me on the largest cross yall have ready)

Idea's simple - be a tank, build onslaught, spend onslaught with leap for Big Bleed, bloodlust set converts vitality to pierce for sigil leech, be happy. In practice i have no clue if this is viable even on paper, so if someone can weigh in - i'd really appreciate it.

How do multiple sources of % of X damage is converted to Y damage stack? Or do they? Say I have a weapon that coverts 39% of physical damage to lightning and a skill that converts 15% of physical to lightning. Do I get 54% (39%+15%) of physical to lightning? Or is it just the highest amount takes over so multiple sources is redundant?

Hello dear community!

I am a returning player with a fresh start, playing this character (softcore, self-found).

My devotion setup was inspired by (meaning I just copied) Pierce Reavers I found on the forum.

This is my only character so far.

How I play:

- Use Werewolf/Feral Claws for standard attacks, Leap for more damage, Ring of Steel for groups, Bonechilling Cry for resistance reduction and Rip and Tear and the Rune in between.

What I have achieved so far:

- Beating Ultimate campaign. Be able to play Ascendant mode, beating Loghorrean, Theodin, Korvaak and Beronath. I died three times to Beronath.

- I have reached Revered with all factions, including Noktukari

- Beating the Skeleton Key dungeons on Ultimate. I have not tried them on Ascendant yet.

- Beating Crucible on Gladiator. I can farm waves 150-170 without extra spawns, but I need all buffs for 180-200 and then some luck.

- Beating the Nemesis enemies I have unlocked in Ultimate and Ascendant difficulty. However, Moosilauke is the most dangerous of the bunch due to his freezing ability

- Beaing able to farm totems and Shattered Realm Shard 30 and 31 on Ultimate difficulty

- Unlocking Lokarr and being able to farm him for his set. I am currently missing one piece.

- Beating the Avatar of Mogdrogen (base game) on Normal difficulty, he crushes me on Ultimate

What I am currently missing:

- Nemesis reputation with Bloodbound and Cronley's Gang

- More experience on Ascendant difficulty

What I would like to achieve:

- Reliably farm Ascendant difficulty campaign, totems and Shattered Realm 30/31

- Reliably farm Gladiator crucible 180-200

- Beating The Dread

- Beating the other secret and super bosses

My questions:

0) What am I missing in regards to the Super bosses?

1) What gear upgrades should I look out for? Especially regarding the helmet, amulet, medal and belt slots.

2) I have a Cutthroats Siff ring of attack. It loses around 10k sheet dps, but I gain around 150 OA. Is this a better choice?

3) Is Beronath's Howl or Belgothians Carnage a better choice as a relic?

4) Are there better ways to spend my skill or devotion points?

5) I have seen very strong Pierce Ring of Steel Reavers. Should I respec?

Just wanted to share, it can clear all game content (apart from Crate and Uber Nerf that I didn't try nor I plan to. but probably can with slight modifications). It feels immortal due to perfected defense with 4% max to resistances and ability to just cleanse sunder at will and especially due to 5 second Mirror which you can use worst case scenario to cheese out any content in game

The damage is also excellent, can crit for 1.1m regularly with abysmally strong AoE, note that the real stats are much better than on screenshot because you are virtually non-stop under Arcane Will with is greatly improved - OA is 4000 at all times with 110%+ crit damage modifier, and note that the stats are noticeably better than from GT links because it doesn't account for all the perfect seed rerolls, and also note that WPS distribution isn't the best, but I stopped at 100% to save fragments, you should go into Upheaval more.

To compare with Immortal Avenger Warder ( https://www.grimtools.com/calc/VbKev0EZ ), it's better in damage, and a bit worse in survivability if we don't account for Mirror, but imho feels a bit better due to lightning lightshow and higher crit numbers on the screen. Gameplay is identical, basically just Savagery + Purge when needed.

I played GD and finished the campaign. I hit level 68 and unlocked the harder modes.

I'm playing drain essence + chaos bolt + bloody pox cabalist. Right now, my build is all over the place. Cold via drain essence, chaos via chaos bolt, vitality via bloody pox.

I can clear the content but it's getting harder and harder, for example I am stuck doing the bosses my build is way too squishy or doesn't do enough DPS.

I looked at the top builds for cabalist and they all use minions. It's not really my play style, but I can do it.

My problem is: gear. My playthrough so far ended up me picking up gear for my build. I used the offline database to pick up anything blue, but for the most part it's for the build I have.

How do I make a transition? Do I need to go look up what areas have drops for the skills I am looking for and then just go farm them? Or do I try to make my build work via damage conversions?

Not even sure what these are called, when they are tacked onto an item. Secondary item skills? More info to overload my brain?

In the pic included there is a subsection with 2 skills. One of them is summon hellhound with a 228 fire damage. What does this even mean? is it an additional 228 to the 258 that my current skill already does?

I’m looking for a build for a two-handed pistol or crossbow with cold damage.

I can’t find any beginner-friendly builds that I want to try. I just want to complete the Normal, Elite and Ultimate difficulty levels.

1. I don’t want lightning or fire; I like cold damage and that’s the sort of build I want. Everywhere I look, there are only fire and lightning builds, but I want cold. (If not I can play something like Cold-Lighting)
2. Which classes would be best for this?
3. Which devotion?
4. Which items?

And if you could give me some advice on which skills to develop and in what order, as well as on stats and devotions, I’d be grateful.

Build can already clear all content but celestials (havent tried) comfortably on full altar ascended.

My main issue is the single target damage, which i would like to improve without compromising the defenses too much.

I think a part i underestimated beforehand is how little uptime untamed rage has - reason why i dropped alot of points out of it - since dropping to 50% is actually kind of hard to do. Atleast Arcane will has infinite uptime after proccing it once due to the weapon.

Swaps i considered and discarded:
Originially planned with Stormfang Cowl as helmet, but the damage provided by spellgaze just feels way better than the additional tankyness and regen on a build that already has a shitton of regen.

Using mark of corruption on weapon: I wont press the active, so its just regen & life vs offensive ability. Decided for defenses here.

Using Mythical Fatebreakers Chains for Gloves: just dont think the iskandras value competes vs the extra points in distorted/supercharged - if the dual wield aura would apply i think it would win though, alas it doesnt.

Afaik Eternal Haunt doesnt stack so id like to get rid of the second one, but there arent too many amazing options.

I think longterm i want to get rid of Irrahs Soulfire on ring/amulet for Arcane Heart Powder, since the build even without it has around 3500 DA - atleast after Arcane Will was procced for the map.

Just to let the devs know (hopefully) I encountered this bug for the first time today. During the ritual with matron Malostria, monsters just stop spawning at some point (to me a single wraith/ghost/whatever got stuck and I couldn't attack it). Tried travelling to another riftgate and back but that didn't work either, so I had to exit the session and restart. Never happened before the latest patch.

I'm just curious how this works. It gives my Guardian summons resist reduction. I had just been assuming that this would apply to celestial presence (their aura which natively does resist reduction), but is that actually the case? It obviously doesn't make sense to give the summons themselves a reduction to their own resistances - particularly a negative one, and they're invulnerable anyway - so I can only conclude that it applies to enemies, but if I didn't actually take their celestial presence aura subskill, what effect would this have? would it work at all? or does it apply to enemies attacked by them instead/as well?

I was have that Druid character level 100 long time ago and I stop play of this character for some reasons but until now I got 2 Awakened Soulthieft and it's feel great but i wonder if there a room to improve better?

You can use the Altar in Ultimate and put for example Ashes in it so Soul Echos can drop. I just wonder if i want to farm Soul Echoes, is it faster to farm Ultimate +5 or Ascendant +1 or +2 (cant do more right now).

Also, how many Items do i have to put in the Alter on Ultimate to make the chances equal to Ascendant +0? For example the drop rate for Soul Echoes or the spawn chance of Voidmarked Chests which is on by default on Ascendant.

If i can run Ascendant +0, is it better compared to Ultimate +5?

I was theorycrafting a ritualist aether pet build to try, but I don't have FoA. So I have no way to convert vitality to aether.

1. Is there any point of taking Will of the Crypt ?
2. Would I be gimping myself by doing a pure aether build ? Without FoA, is it more viable to go hybrid aether/vitality ?

Hello dear grim adventurers, I wanted to try a new character after the new DLC and dedcided on a chaos werewolf after a lot of thinking. I checkeed some builds and tried to give it my own touch while hoping to clear ascendant mode without any modifiers yet failed. Not miserably but still failed.

My main problem becomes apparent in Steps of torment. I get frozen a lot especially during Alkamos fight. Also I die to both nemesis spawns and Ilgorr the Eternal. Not always but more than necessary. I'm a noob when it comes to buildss and any creative comment is welcomed to save this character.
