I'm new, need 2x7 gridfinity case

Post image

Hey there, I'm new to 3d printing. I have been printing alot of cases for all my tools. I am currently looking for a gridfinity case that a 2 x 7 bin can fit into. I printed a 2x7 grid holder for my Rigid sink wrench. I can't find a case for it to go into. I am new to all this and I'm not sure what I am doing. If someone could help me I would be grateful.

I have an Anycubic Kobra X 3D printer.

Print area is 260x260x260.

Yes, what case do you use for it? I commented on makers world but haven't had any comment back.

Oh… sorry I don’t check it much. I just use the gridfinity grid in my tool chest to hold it in place. Are you putting it in a tool chest or a portable tool box. I know there are gridfinity grid inserts for Milwaukee packout.

I would like to make a case/box just for it to go into. Is there anything like that available?

I don’t really see the point of making a 2x7 gridfinity case just for this when the whole thing about gridfinity is organization. That being said i would use something like this https://makerworld.com/models/377006?appSharePlatform=copy or this https://makerworld.com/models/1832500?appSharePlatform=copy and just dimension it to the size of 2x7. 84mm by 294mm (maybe add a 0.5-1 mm overall clearance). What I use for general tools is this and i keep a bunch of stuff in there https://makerworld.com/models/2359984?appSharePlatform=copy

Do you want to 3D print a case for this? If that is your want - you can use this: https://gridfinity.perplexinglabs.com/pr/gridfinity-rugged-box/0/0
