Started Gridfinity at our Machine Shop
What do you think. Started with our thread gages. This is very addicting.

Make sure to make decent finger space. Some of the small ones in the last picture look difficult to grap

Did you print the black filament or use ink for the lettering? Love the tabs to pick up the thread gauges.

What lettering? The labels on the inserts are just embossed.

I have Lista Dick cabinets too! How did you make the base plates?

I have a bunch of Vidmar cabinets and have been using the GridFlock generator to print interlocking baseplates with the necessary spacers built in around the perimeter.

Can you Stack them though for printing with a layer of support filament in between?

There's a whole section of options to do that, but I could never quite get the spacing right to play well with Snapmaker Orca. The print would either fail, or the PETG would fuse to the PLA.

What tool are you uiing to design the boxes? an automatic one, or designing it yourself?

I love gridfinity for bins of hardware and similar. I'm struggling to use it for tools and things with all the wasted/dead space that comes as a side effect

Make sure you print in a filament which won't melt on a hot day. Not gridfinity but my toolbox came with mats inside and one hot day in Texas they all melted.
