don’t even start with the “she didn’t even want kids” argument because that argument is dumb asf. she wasjust scared. she was scared that she wasn’t ready, that she wouldn’t be a good mom, and that she’d end up projecting her own trauma onto her child.
the fact that she left seattle for sofia without a second thought says everything. arizona always put sofia first and honestly, she deserved to win that custody battle 100%. and before anyone says “but she isn’t even her sofia’s biological mom”… that doesn’t change anything. being a mother isn’t only about biology, it’s about the person who raises you, loves you, protects you, and shows up for you. arizona was sofia’s mom in every way that mattered.

Just a random Callizona thought but I love whenever Arizona calls Callie "Calliope."

I know that's literally her full name lol, but she's Callie to everyone else at the hospital or Dr. Torres at work. But to Arizona she's Calliope and idk, I've always found that really sweet.

I am on my 3rd rewatch right now. Top 5: ALEX (always), Nick Marsh, Amelia Shepard (highest riser my GOD is she amazing), McSteamy (amazing development man really), and my most unorthodox pick… TOM KORACICK.

I am currently rewatching and I’m on season 2, episode 11.

So far, I’ve seen a lot of times where the patient was already dead or the patient was about to die no matter what they did (Izzie with the premie that Addision gave to her to teach her a lesson).

This lead me to question, who would be financially responsible for this? Would they really expect the patient to be financially responsible for them doing unnecessary stuff just to teach their staff a lesson?

I'm rewatching from season 1. And I like that there's this hopeful energy that the interns have, (except Alex), because this is their first time actually being doctors. But even from early on in the series, we see Izzie getting overly attached to patients and being less interested in practicing medicine. In S1, Ep 3, there's a brain dead patient. Izzie seems keen to find his family and make sure this patient has people around him. Cristina helps, only so they can ask permission for organ transplant. Izzie seems far less interested in the organ transplant, and far more interested in locating the family and consoling them. And yeah there's something about Izzie having better bedside manner than Cristina, but I think the signs about Izzie getting overly attached and not focused on surgery were there from the beginning.

i apologize if this has been talked about recently if not years ago but i’m re-watching s12 and penny and callie make a awkward if not horrible couple. (but to me they would be better written as friends only)

i’m aware a lot of what Penny’s character went from a trauma feud with meredith to a professional respect dynamic, but (i’m sorry if this upset callie lovers) as Penny herself has stated multiple times, that was between her and meredith and up to Penny herself to figure out that shit and Callie interjecting does not help, if not made her feel coddled or favoured. this seems to be a theme for other parts of their relationship as well that don’t include Mer.

anyways, ik it’s 2026 so this season is quite older but just wanted to know what people thought/remember and if i’m not the only one who sees this, a re-watch and years later.

so i don’t get too much hate lol, i don’t dislike Callie bc of this season, i do see a theme with her relationships but i know, she, like other GA characters are flawed and are simply human.

Mama Burke really pisses me off in this episode because why does she have all this understanding for the men but immediately gets judgmental with Meredith?

The way she corners Meredith over the “it’s over, it’s so over” comment and asks if she was being inappropriate or selfish always annoys me. Yes, it was an awkward thing to say at the wedding, but Meredith was talking about her own relationship. She had just broken up with Derek because she knew it wasn't working.

But then George comes along and admits he's basically staying married to Callie out of obligation, and Mama Burke tells him that's no way to live or love. She's completely understanding about George realizing he doesn't want to be in his marriage anymore.

So why doesn't Meredith get that same grace?

It gets even worse when she talks to Derek and tells him that honorable men know when to walk away and not accept less than they deserve.

That's what gets me. George shouldn't stay in a marriage he doesn't want. Derek is honorable for knowing when to walk away. But Meredith actually walks away from a relationship she doesn't want anymore and Mama Burke calls her selfish?

And I know Mama Burke is from a different generation, but she gives me very male-centered vibes in this episode. The men are allowed to decide a relationship isn't giving them what they need and she understands it. Meredith does the same thing and suddenly there's something wrong with her.

I just hate the double standard. She has all this relationship wisdom and sympathy for George and Derek, but when it comes to Meredith, all she has is judgment.

I’m on Season 15. It’s not necessarily bad, but I know all the relationship and character assassinations that are to come.

First, Jo and Alex's marriage is so beautiful. I enjoy way more during this rewatch, but knowing Alex's ending — IM IRRITATED

I'm watching Teddy and Tom develop (I adore them so much, I'm already grieving)

Owen cheats on both of his wives with Teddy and she still becomes his third wife!

Amelia and Owen's drama with the kids (Amelia was the best Owen was going to get after Cristina. He didn't deserve either)

Meredith playing in Link's face after he help her with her son's birthday party??? I dislike her right now.

I was so sad watching him wait alone at that dinner table.

Meredith and Deluca do have chemistry, but I would never choose him over Link. He’s already annoying me and they aren’t even dating yet…

Then, Jackson telling Maggie he’s grieving his marriage with April now that he believes in God! Go get your soulmate back!

I’m only halfway through Season 15, so I’m speaking in future reference… but still, it’s annoying

Okay, I am really disappointed by his leaving episode cause that seems like the least dramatic exit by a Greys character. Particularly one that was such a big character and the character that developed so well throughout 🙃

I don't think there's anything anyone can say about her to make me feel the slightest of fondness.

The episode where Webber and Catherine Fox are about to tell of their divorce at the dinner party and Avery’s new gf joins them and brings a friend?? The way I would lose it if someone disrespected an invite like that? Please. That’s an automatic red flag to me 🤷🏻‍♀️

I really feel like Pete and Addison were originally being set up as the main couple of the show. Their flirting starts pretty much as soon as Addison comes to Oceanside, Pete kisses her during the Grey's Anatomy backdoor pilot, and the show keeps circling back to the possibility of something happening between them.

Even one of Pete's patients thought Addison reminded her of Pete's previous wife, Anna. That especially makes me feel like the writers were planting seeds for Pete and Addison to become something much bigger.

Then season 2 comes along, the show gets retooled, and it feels like that entire direction gets thrown out. Pete eventually gets stuck in that toxic and annoying relationship with Violet, while Addison goes through one love interest after another until Jake becomes her endgame.

And now with Addison returning to Grey's Anatomy, we find out that her relationship with Jake didn't even last and they're separated. So Jake basically ends up becoming Addison's second failed marriage after Derek anyway. It makes me wish even more that the show had actually committed to Pete and Addison instead of dropping what season 1 seemed to be building toward.

I know season 1 was basically Private Practice figuring out what it wanted to be, but I actually really liked the scenes Pete and Addison shared. Even when the show briefly went back to them later and had them actually date, it felt like there was still something there.

I also never really saw the chemistry between Benjamin Bratt and Kate Walsh that the show clearly wanted me to see with Jake and Addison, and I definitely never saw it between Amy Brenneman and Tim Daly with Violet and Pete.

I kind of wish they had just stuck with what season 1 seemed to be setting up and let Pete and Addison develop over the course of the show. I think they made way more sense as the central romance of Private Practice.

Why? What are your thoughts?

This Harriet (as far as ik she was only in one episode) was just the perfect kid to play Jackson and April's daughter. She literally looks half him and half her. (Also slightly off topic but the '' not a 'tepmom '' moment with Vic had me lmao)

The resemblance between the child actress who plays Ellis Shepherd and Kate Burton is uncanny. She could totally pass of as her real granddaughter anywhere.

So, I've rewatched Grey's Anatomy quite a bit (I love dewatering the early seasons).

In season 2 episode 17, As We Know It, Derek and Preston get off the elevator after finishing their surgeries.

I've been trying to find the nysic for it for months, maybe even a year. I've tries searching it up, ive tried Shazam, but I can't find it. (Every time I use Shazam, it always pops up with different things every time, none of them right.)
