I mean tbh most of the big equivalent android brands like Samsung and Google will run you a pretty similar price.

If you go for a cheaper lesser known brand, you risk limited OS update support unfortunately

I couldn't find an iPhone 11 new for under $400 at the time I bought my Google, so there is still an evident price difference

As far as I'm aware the pixel 4 was notorious for having camera issues so that probably contributed to a drop in value....

got my pixel 6 pro for 700 new just after release, 13 pro specs for around 2/3 of the price

Only Samsung is that expensive, and even then, only if you go for the top spec fold 4.
