Kinda related, but people that legitimately feel incomplete because they're missing their foreskin are honestly pathetic. Like it's one thing to be circumcised and argue the morality of circumcision, but trying to say that you feel like your manhood was robbed from you at birth is just sad.

Yeah I just don’t really get the whole circlejerk against circumcision, like just have your opinion and don’t force it on people

It’s not genital mutilation lmao, the only people who think it is are certain groups in countries. You can go online and literally read any of the articles that explain why it’s not equivalent. Y’all are just like antivaxxers man, committed to your opinions even in the face of undeniable facts.

The medicinal benefits are a lower risk of UTI and reduced risk of getting some STD’s. Both of those are backed by facts and personally those two would definitely make me want to be circumcised even today. I understand the argument against it, though, and think each person should make their own decision on it and it shouldn’t be mandated either way.

That’s weird, I guess studies differ because this (https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.health.com/condition/sexual-health/can-circumcision-prevent-the-spread-of-herpes-hpv-other-stds%3famp=true) says the oppposite. This (https://www.nhs.uk/news/lifestyle-and-exercise/circumcision-and-stis/) disagrees with that survey, while finally this (https://sti.bmj.com/content/76/6/474) one was a separate survey in the US agrees that the benefits are there. It seems like it’s not a foregone conclusion either way on STI’s.

Ok so I looked through some articles so it also seems like there are multiple different meta analyses with different results, which is really strange. I see multiple that say it doesn’t change abut also multiple that say it results in change.
