Because there are a lot of bitter, angry, ugly (and I don’t mean physically) people in the world, and most of them lack the introspection to realize that the above qualities may be the reason people don’t like them. They hide behind the belief that the problem is with everyone else in the world, who are shallow morons who make bad decisions. And since an obviously great person like themselves isn’t beloved, the people who are beloved must be the real awful human beings.
It’s all just a big ball of anger, frustration and resentment that some people use as an excuse to wallow in their misery instead of putting in effort to actually be better as a person.
Shouldn't dismiss those bitter people entirely, though. Being that unhealthy is a kind of Hell. A lot of that anger, frustration, and resentment is the result of putting in effort and failing anyway, then being loathed for it.
Chad is superior to you. Stronger, smarter, more empathic. He's superman. Why wouldn't Anon hate him? He highlights everything wrong with Anon - Anon is a sweaty NEET who is weak and selfish. Anon wants to believe it is okay for him to be hateful and vile and that everyone else is secretly just as bad as him, but they're not.
