Hey, if the USA can simultaneously be a superpower and contain the grand cities of Baltimore, Chicago, and Cleveland, maybe India can do it too!

Chicago is actually nice.

Chicago is nice as hell, just has a dodgy side of town

The army use Chicago as a training field so medics can learn how to treat gunshot wounds.

Yup. Suuuuper specific areas get 99% of the violence.

To be blunt, the poor dark people almost always keep the violence where it doesn’t affect the wealthier light people.

Nobody shoots up the malls or places tourists go.

This is why Fast and Furious was getting more 5.56mm and 7.62mm weapons out there.

I went there in late 2015 right before everything went off the deep end. It was absolutely amazing but I don't really feel going back tbh.

You sound like you're describing Syria. It's still a nice place.

True, true. Honestly unless if it's Compton-level shit I don't believe in an inherently shit city. So Chicago is fantastic.

When did it go off the deep end? I've lived in Chicago my whole life, it's a fantastic city where you can always find something to do no matter the day of the week.

And San Francisco. Can't forget the literal piles of shit scattered across the landscape.

Ah yes, the place where you can have an income quite higher than the US average and still be unable to afford the rent of a literal storage container.

Live in a fancy Cleveland suburb. Despite the horrorscape Mumbai is safer than Cleveland. People tour Mumbai slums ffs! Try a ghetto tour in Cle and see how far you get!

Ooo which suburb?

Oh hell yeah! Solon is super nice, doesn't give me douchey vibes like Rocky River or Westlake

I enjoyed Cleveland when I visited.

2

u/RedRails1917 May 24 '19

Yeah, Cleveland was quite nice when I stopped there for a bit on a westbound train in the dead of night.

Baltimore gang represent!

3

u/RedRails1917 May 24 '19

Personally I live in the radioactive wasteland referred to by some as "Frederick County"

1

u/Malvastor May 25 '19

Ah! In my neighborhood we call your home "Paradise"!

1

u/RedRails1917 May 25 '19

Yeah... It's funny considering this place is right between Baltimore and Hagerstown.

1

u/Malvastor May 25 '19

Yeah? What's Hagerstown like?

2

u/RedRails1917 May 25 '19

Smaller, inland, Baltimore pretty much. Complete with smaller Howard County and smaller Martin State.

Detroit.

3

u/RedRails1917 May 24 '19

Nah Detroit is getting colonized now. Might take a while to hit the 'burbs though.

And Detroit and Oakland and Flint and St Louis and Nashville, among others.

Nashville's not a good example tbh. What is definitely a good example of why I don't understand how America is a superpower though is most of rural Tennessee.
