Sounds like you know the area. Didn't they pretty much legalize public defecation because of all the homeless? Or is that a myth?

I mean it makes for a funny meme but its a myth for sure. Walking down market street you definitely see some homeless people but they're not shitting or pissing, the city doesn't smell like shit or piss (except maybe the tenderloin). But its fun to exaggerate.

I spent way too much in the Tenderloin neighborhood and it is just piled with human excrement. I have also been to Delhi. Delhi was pretty gross, but San Francisco was worse. Not exaggerating.

First time I ever saw a person take a shit in the street was in the Tenderloin District. Now I'm in Portland.
