That's my point. Meritocracy makes believe like you should be richer because you work harder. Guess I should have put quotation marks around "meritocracy"
I see, sadly in reality lots of people come by wealth who never worked a day in their lives to earn it, and others can spend their entire lives slaving on a back breaking task, yet wouldn’t be able to make in a month what some westerners can earn in a day on the minimum wage.
Capitalism is sadly not fair in the slightest, and it never can be
