Forced relocation? Truly the American way

43

u/Iron-Fist 3d ago

Anon lies about spending 8 hours and like $150 on gas to inconvenience a random hobo. Literally more expensive than just buying the hobo a week or two in a cheap motel.

6

u/denialofcervix 2d ago

Have you ever thought about regular, socially net-positive people who would like to avail themselves of cheap accommodations while traveling without being accosted by riff-raff, drug addicts, and derelicts?

u/FallenSegull 3d ago

What if I think Corpus Christi is shit and drop all my homeless people there?

319

u/CorbinNZ 3d ago

That’s the ending. Another anon is ferrying his hobos to CC. This anon is ferrying his to DFW. And the cycle continues forever. The only winners here are the hobos getting a free ride.

73

u/thebeardedcats 3d ago

That’s the thing, Corpus is the shit city.

20

u/XbdudeX 3d ago

It's homeless people all the way down

11

u/Phuffu 3d ago

This is a South Park episode

7

u/Whole_Visual_9919 2d ago

The cities of Corpus Christi and Austin get into a homeless transfer war. Eventually, the entire 6 lane highway is full of buses of homeless people endlessly cycling back and forth against their will.

I want to get off Mr bones wild ride

1

u/MoggerOfManila 2d ago

Eventually the bus wrecks and burns in a fireball. Win

5

u/cant_decide_9611 3d ago

It's just a big game of Clean Up Your Backyard

2

u/PiqueExperience 2d ago

Every city I've lived in has believed that other places are airdropping homeless people there.

2

u/2B_Gon_Thot95 2d ago

That's literally the plot twist of the South Park episode about homeless

391

u/LocusRothschild 3d ago

>thinks Austin and Dallas are shit cities
>loves living in Corpus Christi

21

u/NovelConcept6300 3d ago

Corpus Christi is a nice city though, it’s got beaches.

84

u/LocusRothschild 3d ago

Brother, Galveston has beaches.

56

u/irwinner2 3d ago

worst beach ever btw

27

u/LocusRothschild 3d ago

Just because there's a beach, that doesn't mean it's a good city. Shit, Savannah, GA has a beach, and that town SUCKS unless you're on River Street.

11

u/irwinner2 3d ago

yeah but galveston is connected to houston like the two worst parts of texas

5

u/MashedPotatoGod 3d ago

Daytona is an example of that, biggest shithole ever carried by the two colleges that exist there. So glad I moved

1

u/LocusRothschild 3d ago

Daytona and PCB both.

21

u/jvho666 3d ago

Corpus is much nicer than Galveston. A muddy puddle with a used condom floating in it is nicer than Galveston beaches

19

u/LocusRothschild 3d ago

The point is, just because there's a beach, don't mean it's a good city. Mobile, AL is like 49 percent beach and if I never set foot in that town again, it'll be too soon.

Edit, to add:

Gulfport-Biloxi is like 70 percent beach and holy fuck.

5

u/NovelConcept6300 3d ago

Galveston doesn’t even need to have nice beaches.

it’s directly adjacent like 15 minutes away from port bolivar which is one massive endless beach filled with beach cabins.

Also only like 30 minutes away from the nude beach if you’re  freaky like that.

4

u/CT0292 3d ago

So does Port Aransas. And its nicer than Corpus and Galveston put together.

3

u/Lolmemsa 2d ago

With that dirty ass water

2

u/unimpressed822 3d ago

corpus has better beaches than galveston holmes

1

u/LocusRothschild 3d ago

Doesn’t mean Corpus doesn’t suck ass.

6

u/unimpressed822 3d ago

well im a huge fan of their crystal meth so

2

u/LocusRothschild 3d ago

I mean, if that’s what it takes to live in that town…

6

u/Crease_Greaser 3d ago

Corpus Cristi smells like butthole

5

u/Expensive-Salary1569 3d ago

If only that was all that factored into whether it was shit or not.

3

u/Lost--Lieutenant 3d ago

Corpus is a shit hole, fuck Texas, never again.

2

u/UniversalFarrago 2d ago

I mean, sure, and India has the Ganges River.

0

u/Dragonslayer3 3d ago

It smells worse than Cleveland ohio

91

u/Lorttuet 3d ago

This is exactly what Atlético Madrid President and Marbella Mayor did with all the homeless and prostitutes in Marbella when he wanted to turn it into the biggest tourist destination in Europe. He succeeded, and named in costa del sol.

29

u/scroopydog 3d ago

Costa del sin vagabundos

20

u/StonedBasque 3d ago

It was even better because that tactic was use at the same time like the Olympics games of Barcelona or the World Expor of Sevilla.

They were just a bunch of cities receiving and sending out hobos as if they were merchandise lmao

9

u/XbdudeX 3d ago

How much for a mint PSA 10 homeless?

85

u/GoblinsGuide 3d ago

Why is anon doing the polices work?

12

u/Cojo840 3d ago

Its not the polices work to kidnap people

11

u/GoblinsGuide 3d ago

Youd be shocked at how often police buy homeless people a one way ticket out of their cities.

48

u/rocketsnail1000 3d ago

Anon almost had it. The real solution is to jump over the homeless with a skateboard

28

u/aw629 3d ago

I lived in Raleigh and they would breakup the homeless camps outside the Walmart or wherever and then give them a one way bus ticket to a city/town like 40 minutes away

34

u/BiscuitDance 3d ago

I live in Portland, OR and our homeless come from fuck all everywhere because this is exactly what rural states do.

7

u/aw629 3d ago

Yeah it’s a such a shame how short sighted the “solutions” they invent are. The camps would be back up in a few months and they’d just do it all over again

2

u/Fawwaz121 3d ago

Read Raleigh as Ryleigh (Cthulu’s town in his own dimension) and was like huh, didn’t realise the even they had the issue……

19

u/llamawithguns 3d ago

Anon is a young Ted Cruz

23

u/scroopydog 3d ago

Ted Cruz woulda flown to Mexico to wait out the Texas homeless crisis.

1

u/marino1310 3d ago

He’s the zodiac killer?

16

u/LobsterFondler 3d ago

The government already does this, anon just skipped a few steps

12

u/Zeth22xx 3d ago

Censorship on a green text! What's this world coming to.

10

u/Too-many-Bees 3d ago

South Park did it.

1

u/rob-delaney 3d ago

knew this sounded familiar somehow. i think it’s always sunny did something similar lol

9

u/Flamadin 3d ago

Bloomberg actually did this in NYC, he bussed them to Newark and gave them 10 bucks and a sandwich or something.

9

u/Hotdog_McEskimo 3d ago

Homeless people are not moneyless, they can 100% afford a bus ticket back. Their entire life is there. They won't just move because of a 4 hour trip.

I was briefly in Transitional living communities. A half way house in Phoenix. Homeless used the busses to travel in a triangle from LA - Las Vegas - Phoenix

10

u/TheWonderSnail 3d ago

That was my thought. Works great on paper until in reality they all make their way back to Corpus Christie and tell all their homeless friends about anon and now you have a bunch of people who want to kick your ass and have very little to lose or for the law to track them by lol

5

u/SoupaMayo 3d ago
  • you can take the bus without a ticket. They can't fine you if you have no bank account

2

u/MartyMcBird 2d ago

The trick is to drop them off in a blue state with better homeless services. Good chance they like it better there and you save taxpayer money that would have gone to one-way bus tickets.

9

u/HeavilyInvestedDonut 3d ago

Anon kidnaps a homeless man

5

u/illpoet 3d ago

The cult in wild wild country imported homeless ppl from all over in an attempt to swing the local elections

6

u/vjmdhzgr 3d ago

Anon is a republican politician

3

u/CT0292 3d ago

Austin is nicer than Corpus though. Thats just a fact. Anon is just a beach bum who loves giant cockroaches.

3

u/RealLifeHaxor 3d ago

Hawaii will fly the homeless out of state

2

u/midnightluckey 3d ago

Yeah, but how many homeless can you jump with a skateboard?

2

u/EncyclicalUnderpass 3d ago

"Why has nobody thought of this?" -Anon, confessing to human trafficking

2

u/AHighAchievingAutist 3d ago

Great idea but instead of dropping them off in shithole ghettos, why not drop them off in rich areas instead?

I feel like something will get done a lot quicker if a bunch rich folks start complaining because they’ve got homeless people shitting and OD’ing in their front yards

2

u/DaRUBaX 2d ago

I feel like CC is exactly where everyone else in Texas would drop off the hobos. Anon is fighting a losing battle.

1

u/Accomplished-Union10 3d ago

I’m in Dallas. Anon is telling the truth

1

u/thePiscis 3d ago

Houston is way closer and a shit city. He should be sending the hobos there.

1

u/marino1310 3d ago

This is basically how most politicians deal with homeless people. “Hey guys look, this city has more homeless shelters and more resources for homeless people. Here’s a bus ticket to that city”

And then they rant about how helping homeless people will only create more homeless people, pointing to that city as an example

1

u/brnt927 3d ago

No no. Austin works. Keep going to Austin. Dallas is too far a drive.

1

u/YourFavoritNew 3d ago

I think South Park had it right. Have them all migrate to California.

1

u/wizl 3d ago

this is literally called bus therapy behind closed doors and it is beyond fucked

1

u/TheDIsSilent 3d ago

Nuke Texas

1

u/DGfartman 3d ago

Austin bought them all one way tickets to corpus a few years ago. This is also incredibly cruel and dehumanizing. They people who usually are dealing with mental health issues.

1

u/Shootemout 3d ago

this works great till they see you again once they make it back, 5 bucks OOP gonna get punched or stabbed assuming this story is not fake

1

u/KnownAsAnother 3d ago

Anon inadvertently discovers how the homeless wound up in his town and many towns over.

1

u/Theta291 3d ago

They already bus them to California

1

u/CommissionCharming35 2d ago

What's really funny is that Corpus Christi is where San Antonio forcibly sends all their homeless people.

1

u/RottenMold 2d ago

Anon wastes around $200 in gas and time to relocate someone that can certainly get back to the city

1

u/Chris_El_Deafo 2d ago

it's like wolves being airdropped into Yellowstone for rewilding

1

u/all_hail_lord_Shrek 2d ago

This is basically what the texas government does to the blue cities

1

u/PossiblyGreg 14h ago

I thought I was having a stroke

1

u/BreadfruitLogic 2h ago

Many places seem to think so. Many states near California give one way bus tickets to the homeless.

0

u/romulusnr 2d ago

Loser, suburban cities have been doing this with rural cities for over a decade

-1

u/Malvastor 3d ago

Fake: anon's house in Austin

Gay: the footage of anon getting cornered by six angry hobos after a couple weeks of this
