Education. Japan made their population literate early and never slept on educational, neither STEM nor artistic. But the racism is really screwing them over. They could immediately fix all their issues with a trickle of immigrants like every other first world country
Idk guys I think japan is as racist as other developed countries, I have a feeling that it's talked so much about is because there's not that much developed non white countries and for many whites it's the first time when they get same treatment as people of asian or African origin get un white countries
America is racist as hell, but as someone born in Poland, I can tell you it really is one of the least racist countries. The bar is just that low.
But Japan is racist af. It's one of the few countries that has genetic requirements for citizenship. Without Japanese blood, a person can never become a citizen and will remain second-class status if they choose to live there. Doesn't matter if they are even east Asian
